In winter, it is best to sleep in a warm bed on the bed. In winter, I do not feel like getting out of bed early in the morning and sleep is also very good. In cold weather, we sleep more, we remain lazy and lethargic, but have you ever wondered why sleep comes more in winter? Do you think that due to the extreme cold, you get more sleep-in winter? you are wrong if you think so. Actually, deep sleep-in winter is related to the decreasing level of vitamin D in your body. Vitamin D and many other factors are responsible for lethargy and lethargy in the body in winter. Let us know why sleep comes more in winter and why there is lethargy in the body.

Increased Levels of Melatonin in Winter:
Melatonin is a hormone that is released from the pineal gland in the body. This hormone is helpful in falling asleep. This hormone removes free radicals from the body. It is believed that sleep is controlled by light and darkness. Whenever a particular part of the brain is exposed to light, this hormone suddenly becomes active. Melatonin regulates body temperature and hormones. Due to these three, sleep is affected in the body. Melatonin hormone enhances sleep.

Vitamin D Deficiency:
In winter, it is difficult to wake up in the morning because in winter the level of vitamin D in our body starts decreasing. In fact, in the winter season the days become shorter and the nights longer. Lack of vitamin D in the body can occur due to lack of sunlight. this is why feeling more lethargic in this season is common.

When it gets cold, we all cover ourselves with warm clothes. Very cold or very hot temperatures can disrupt the process of sleep. Messing around with your home’s temperature too much can get in the way of this process.

If we use such things more in winter, then along with giving heat to the body, it also keeps it energetic. By eating a pleasant food or overeating, the body’s energy is diverted to digest that food which makes you more lazy and feel tired. If it is winter, it does not mean that you keep on eating full stomach.
If you can’t sleep in the morning, try these methods:
- Make a habit of drinking water before sleeping at night. A habit of taking warm water after one wake up in the morning. Drinking water will keep your stomach clean and it will be easier for the body to wake up.
- Do not make the body lazy due to winter, but do regular exercise. Exercise will help set up your body routine.
- Try setting the body clock. Make time to wake up in the morning and wake up at night. By setting the body clock, your sleep will start opening on time.
- Feeling cold after getting out of bed, do not avoid water, but take a bath after some time. Due to which your body temperature will change and you will feel active.
- Take healthy and light food to avoid laziness.

- Keep yourself warm: Keep yourself covered with warm clothes, especially the feet, head and ears.
