WHAT IS STRESS?
Stress is a disorder stemming from a state of mind. Tension arises due to imbalance and confusion between the state of mind and the situation. Stress is the gateway to many other disorders. Generally speaking, stress is a mental illness.
TYPES OF STRESS
- Anticipatory Stress
When you start thinking too much about future activities, then you may have anticipatory stress. In this type of stress, you often feel the fear and danger of going wrong in the situation that will happen in the future. For example, you started worrying about failing in the upcoming exam.
- Encounter Stress
When you start getting anxious about going in front of a certain person or a group and start avoiding going in front of them, then you may have encounter stress. For example, if you start feeling stressed just after going in front of your boss, then it will be considered as such stress. In this type of stress, you keep battling with the fear of forming an opinion about yourself by a certain person or group.
- Time Stress
When you start feeling stressed about time, then understand that you are getting time stress. In this type of stress, a person keeps feeling short of time. He feels that he will not be able to complete any work on time. This type of stress often happens to office goers, children studying or people working on deadlines.
- Situational Stress
Situational stress is when you are under stress due to some situation. This situation can come very often in life, but some people can also be stressed by such situations, which they have to face again and again. For example, children always start getting much stressed around exams or due to the loss of your job, there is a lot of stress.
WHY DOES STRESS HAPPEN?
- Fear and protection are prominent among the main characteristics of a living being. Tension is the difference between fear and fear, that is, tension arises when we fail to strike a balance between every type of fear present in the world and its protection.
- In such a terrified, insecure person is always ready to be safe, desperate and restless and this state of mind is stress and our complex life, social, political and administrative system fails to establish balance. The situation is called tension.
- There are certain hormones in our body that increase stress such as adrenaline and cortisol. Under stress, the release of these hormones increases.
- It is normal to have stress or tension nowadays, it is felt when it becomes difficult for us to deal with a situation.
- When there is tension, the release of adrenaline increases in our body, in such a situation the heartbeat and mental and physical consciousness increases greatly.
- If stress is prolonged, it can damage our immune system and heart. Apart from this, our physical and mental ability to deal with external diseases is also affected.
SYMPTOMS OF STRESS
- Upset stomach
- To be constipated
- Forgetfulness
- Headache
- Lack of energy
- Difficulty concentrating
- Sexual problems
- Exhaustion
- Insomnia or sleeping too much
- Use of alcohol or drugs to get relief
- Excessive weight gain or loss
CAUSES OF STRESS
- Be married or divorced
- Start a new job
- Death of a spouse or close family member
- To retire
- Short of money
- Having a serious illness
- Trouble at work
- Stress after delivery
- Any kind of problem in the house
- Feel under lots of pressure.
- Face big changes in your life.
- Are worried about something.
- Don’t have much or any control over the outcome of a situation.
- Have responsibilities that you find overwhelming.
HOW TO HELP YOURSELF UNDER STRESS?
- Exercise
Exercise for half an hour daily. Get up every morning and go for a walk. Due to this the human body remains healthy and he gets good sleep. This helps in reducing stress.
- Healthy Diet
Take healthy diet. A person with stress should consume fresh fruits and green vegetables. Due to this there will be no shortage of vitamins, proteins, and iron in his body and there will be a reduction in stress.
- Away from Alcohol
Stay away from alcohol because alcohol does not reduce stress but makes it more. A person with stress should stay away from alcohol.
- Get plenty of sleep
Due to lack of sleep, a person gets stressed and he remains upset. If you are not able to sleep, then lie down with your eyes closed and do not let any thoughts enter your mind. This will help you fall asleep and you will feel relaxed.
- Do Meditation and Yoga
The best way to overcome depression or stress is to do meditation and yoga. Include yoga and meditation in your daily routine.
- Washing hands with warm water
A person with stress should wash his hands with warm water. When a person is stressed, he should wash his hands with lukewarm water. This reduces stress.
- Listening to Music
If any person is stressed then he should listen to music. This can reduce his stress. He will get rest.
- Give Feedback
The person who is feeling stressed should let go of his stress. For this he should give feedback. Don’t let the person get stressed and sit quietly. This situation can be dangerous so don’t be afraid to react. Tension can also be reduced by shouting at the person suffering from stress.
- Laughing Photos
Seeing laughing pictures of a stressed person or making yourself laugh can reduce the stress inside him.
- Drawing or Making Art
Drawing should be done to reduce stress. At the time of stress, there is an effect on the left side of the person, which affects his thinking power. So drawing whatever comes to mind on paper can reduce stress. - Take off the slippers
The stressed person should take off his shoes and walk barefoot on the ground. This reduces his stress.
- Some food
Under stress makes a person want to eat sweets. A person with stress should consume sweet and some green vegetables or juicy fruits, which reduces his stress and it is also beneficial for his body.
CAC TREATMENT FOR STRESS
- Vata Balance Tablet
Vata balance tablet is a rejuvenating blend of herbs is specially formulated to balance Vata doshas without aggravating Pitta or Kapha doshas. - Stress care tablet
It is an amazing combination of natural herbs like Sarpgandha, Brahmi, Tagar, jatamansi. It helps to relieve stress conditions. They help to pacify the nervous system and also help to increase mental and physical performance. In Ayurveda when there is an imbalance of three energies i.e. Vata, pitta, and Kapha, it leads to disease.
