Introduction
Pneumonia is an infection in the lungs. It is mainly caused by viral or bacterial infection. It can also be caused by bacterial, viruses or parasites. In this disease, parts of one or both lungs become swollen and the lungs also get filled with water.

- Aspiration: Inhaling food, Liquids, vomit or other substance into the lungs can lead to aspiration pneumonia

Natural herbs remedies for pneumonia
Garlic
It has antimicrobial, antiviral properties that fight against viruses, bacteria and fungi. It decreased body temperature and works to expel phlegm from the chest and lungs. Drink a boiled milk, water and garlic mixture with honey and take thrice daily to treat the condition.
Ginger
It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and may help relieve symptoms like coughing and congestion
Licorice root
It has anti-inflammatory properties and may help soothe sore throat and cough.
Eucalyptus
Its oil can used in steam inhalation to help ease congestion and promote easier breathing
Fenugreek seed
The mucolytic properties of fenugreek provide relief from the body congestion. Boiling fenugreek seeds in 1 glass of water in 5 minutes. Filter it and drink it.
Turmeric
Turmeric acts as a mucolytic to remove mucus from the respiratory tract. Its antiviral and antibacterial properties help fight infections. Apply a paste of turmeric powder and warm mustard oil on your chest or Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder to a 1 glass of water and boiling it in 5 minutes. Strain and serve with honey
Tulsi and Black pepper
Both these elements are beneficial for your lungs. They help in treating pneumonia. Extract the juice from basil leaves. And know add a pinch of black pepper into it and mix well, Drink it every 4 hours

You can simply take 1 tablespoon of honey with lukewarm water 2-3 times a day.
Peppermint
It is the best herb which provides relief from headache during influenza. It provides relief from cough and sore throat. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect which reduces the swelling in the throat
Chop the fresh leaves of peppermint and boil them in one cup of water for 10 minutes. Strain and then add half teaspoon of honey to it, drink this 2-3 times a day
