These tablets are  herbo-mineral tablets and a purely ayurvedic formulation. It helps to balance kapha dosha in body. MECHANISUM OF ACTION :

It inhibits the enzyme thyroperoxidase  which act as catalyst in conversion of iodide to iodine . Iodine is important for the formation of Thyroxine (T4) and Iodothyronine(T3).  Thus inhibiting the Thyroperoxidase  helps to lower the level of T4 and T3 in body.
