- A healthy lifestyle can be followed by eating a nutritive diet and taking all the important nutrients required by the body.
- A proper diet plan helps to maintain ideal body weight and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease and other types of carcinoma.

Nutrition is the biochemical and physiological process by which an organism uses food to support its life.It include indigestion, absorption, assimilation and excretion.
CALORIES:-
- Calories indicate the energy content in the food. The calories are consumed during walking, thinking, or breathing. A person may require about 2000 calories per day to maintain their health.
- Usually a person’s calories may depend on their sex ,age, and physical activity.
- Moreover, men need more calories than women. People who are do more into exercising require more calories needed comparison to people who don,t.
- Its more important to remember that the source of calories is also important as the amount. No nutrient calories may be found in foods such as:
- Sugar
- Butter
- Cookies
- Cakes
- Energy drinks
- Ice cream
- Pizza

- The importance of nutritious food protect against many chronic disease. Some of the most common health problems that occurs due to lack of a balanced diet are heart disease, cancer, stroke, and diabetes.
- It manages many health problems and improves mental health by removing stress, depression, and pain. Regular exercise helps to prevent metabolic syndrome, stroke, high blood pressure, anxiety and other disorders.
