Patient Story – Rubina, Suffering from Infertility

A young girl Rubina 26 years of age visit our clinic with a tensed face and restlessness. She told in her history that she was suffering with the problem of PCOD diagnosed 3 years back. She faced problem of irregular menstruation with severe abdominal pain. From the very first day she visit the doctor and underwent several test ( USG , CBC , CRP etc ) after seeing the result of reports the doctor confirm the diagnosis of PCOD . Then she got started on medication which include some hormonal treatment along with painkillers . She firstly get some relief for few months but doesn’t get any satisfactory response. They again visit the hospital with the same complaint and again went through ultrasound report but with no changes. She get worried after seeing the report but the doctor said that she get cured but it is a time taking process. They again took the medication and tried for one more month but with no significant relief . 

Then she got married and stop the medication for few months but symptoms doesn’t resolve . They again went to another doctor in nearby hospital and started treatment there . But she become depressed after hearing from the doctor that it may cause some problem to conceive . But the doctor started her on treatment and she tried the treatment for 2 months . But they get worried after seeing the report of ultrasound and plan to change the doctor . 

They then visit the another hospital for the better treatment and show all the reports to the doctor . After examination of the patient and going through all her report she told the same thing to couple which make them more worried .
