Patient Story – Janvi, Suffering from PCOD

A Young patient Janvi 30 years of age from Tohana came to visit our clinic (Chandigarh Ayurved Centre). She tell in her history that she is suffering with the problem of infertility . She is married from 5 years but doesn’t conceive even a single time . She told that when they recongnize the problem of infertility thay went to the hospital for treatment . After hearing the history of the patient the doctor advise him some test (CBC , CRP-QUANTITATIVE , LFT and USG-ABDOMEN). After the result of test report came the doctor told them the diagnosis of PCOD and tell that due to this she is facing problem of infertility . This bring the storm of sorrow to the family but the doctor give the hope by saying that she will get cured with medication . They then start medication from the doctor and tried for 3 months but the result doesn’t change . This make the family worried and they decide to change the doctor for the treatment of disease .They visit the another hospital in the city and tell the history along with all the reports . The doctor start her on some medication and advise to repeat the USG-ABDOMEN report after the medication . After taking medication they visit to the hospital and get the ultrasound done and notice that the report is still same . 

They then switch to homeopathy treatment after the advice of one of their relative . After taking medication for 4 months she doesn’t have any positive response this make her depressed and sad . 

Then through internet they came to know about ayurvedic treatment and panchakarma therapies for the same . They search on internet and came to know about Chandigarh Ayurved Centre and call the doctor on phone . After hearing all her history and all her report the doctor tell them about ayurvedic treatment along with panchakarma therapies . After getting satisfactory response on phone they decide to visit our clinic in chandigarh . After hearing all her history and examination of the patient Vaidya Karanvir Singh told them about the medication which are herbal products with no side effects . Also told them the result of panchakarma therapies in her problem . They then decide to continue medication along with the panchakarma therapies . 

TREATMENT GIVEN TO THE PATIENT :-

1. Stri – Vyadhihari Tablets

These herbal tablets are prepared from ingredients like:

• Sootikabharan Rasa
• Latakaranj Beeja Ghan
• Pippali
• Shatahva Beej Choorna, etc.

Stri – Vyadhihari tablets are very beneficial as it improves the ovarian functions. It is helpful to correct the hormonal imbalance. These tablets nourish the female reproductive organs and balance the vata and pitta dosha. The tablets are beneficial in menstrual discomfort and menstrual disorders. It also treat the obesity.

2. Stri Poshak Syrup

This herbal syrup is prepared from ingredients like:

1. a) Ashok chall (Saraca asoca)
2. b) Lodhar chall (Symlocos racemosa)
3. c) Khadir chall (Acacia catechu)
4. d) Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia)
5. e) Patrang (Caesalpinia sappan)
6. f) Mochras (Salmalia malabarica)
7. g) Mulathi (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
8. i) Daru Haldi (Berberis aristata), etc.
