INTRODUCTION
- Lime is a citrus fruit which contain acidic juice vesicles , limes are small , round and bright green.
- If they stay on the tree for a long time they turn yellow. Then they look like small round Lemons.
- Limes are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants , which helps improve immunity , support heart health , aid iron absorption and promote healthy skin.

- Family – Rutaceae

SIDE EFFECTS

- Dental issues : The high acidity of lime juice can erode tooth enamel , leading to dental problems over time.
- Gastrointestinal issues : Consuming too much lime juice can cause stomach upset , including nausea , vomiting and diarrhea.
- Skin irritation : Lime juice can cause skin irritation , especially when exposed to sunlight (phytophotodermatitis) , leading to redness , burning and blistering.
