HOME REMEDIES FOR HAIR THINNING

Hairs are important feature of individuals appearance. Hair loss or hair thinning can cause serious damage to ones confidence. In contrast to extensive hair loss, hair thinning is not always associated with baldness. But it do create impression that individual have sparser patches of hair on head.
Majority of individuals find it difficult to deal with typical issue of thin hairs. In today’s world hairs bears the burden of high levels of stress , the polluted air and unhealthy eating habits. Hair thinning affects males and females equal and if left untreated , it can result in significant hair loss. Taking proper care of hairs and incorporating natural remedies in hair care regime helps to prevent and cure hair thinning.
CAUSES OF HAIR THINNING :
- Wearing tight hairstyles
- Aging
- Experiencing chronic stress
- Over-treating hairs
- Not getting enough nutrients which are good for hair health in your diet

HOME REMEDIES
- MASSAGE :
Scalp massage with or without hair oil helps to regulate the blood circulation in the scalp area thus helps to encourage the hair growth and also improves scalp health. Massage the scalp with fingertips gently in small circles , applying light pressure for 5-10 minutes daily to promote hair growth.
- CASTOR OIL :
This oil contain fatty acid and vitamin E which helps to promote hair growth and also strengthen the hair. Massage the castor oil on scalp and let it settle for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes wash the hair with mild shampoo.
- AVOCADO :
This a super fruit which is a good source of Vitamin E, A, B6 and C. These nutrients supports healthy hair growth. Avocado also contains essential amino acids and omega-3 fatty acids which conditions and deeply nourishes the hair and hair follicles. Mash one avocado and mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Apply this mask thoroughly over scalp and let it sit for 20-30 minutes . Wash it off with mild shampoo and use this mask once a week for better results
- AMLA :
Amla has potent anti-oxidant properties thus helps to maintain overall hair health. It makes hair strong, shiny and thick. Boil amla in coconut oil until oil turn black. Strain the oil and let it cool . Use this oil to massage scalp for and let it sit 20 minutes. Wash off the oil after 20 minutes with mild shampoo.
- GREEN TEA :
Green tea is rich in anti-oxidant and also contain EGCG( epigallocatechin-3- gallate) thus helps to promote hair growth and is beneficial in alopecia as well. Brew two green tea bags in 2-3 cup of water. Strain the tea and let it cool down. Use the water to rinse the hairs and also massage head. Use this remedy twice a week for better results.
- SOUR CURD :
It contain protein, amino acids and other essential nutrients which helps to strengthen the hairs. Curd also clear out toxins from the pores thus aid in hair growth. Apply the curd directly on scalp and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Wash it off using mild shampoo and repeat this remedy every week for effective results.
- FENUGREEK SEEDS :
It has anti-microbial property thus treats hair and scalp infection effectively. It also helps to nourish hair follicles, improve blood circulation and strengthen the hairs. Soak 2 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in half cup water over night. In morning blend seeds with little bit of water to make smooth , thick paste. Apply this paste on hair and scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash this paste with cold water and mild shampoo. Apply this paste on hairs once a week.
- EGGS :
Egg is rich source of protein and sulfur which are beneficial for stimulating hair growth and also prevent hair fall. It also moisturize hair and nourishes scalp. Combine 1 egg with one teaspoon of olive oil and mix it well to make smooth mixture. Apply this mixture to scalp and hair and cover the hairs with shower cap and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash the hairs with cold water and mild shampoo. Use this remedy once or twice a week for effective results.
- ALOE VERA :
This contain proteolytic enzymes which helps to repair and heal dead skin cells. It also stimulate hair growth thus improving hair volume. Extract 2 teaspoon aloe pulp from aloe vera leaf and blend it to get smooth consistency. Massage this gel on scalp with fingertips for 5 minutes and leave it one for 25 minutes. Rinse it out with luke warm water and do this twice a week.
