Every women & men want clear skin that should be acne-free. The glowing skin represents the health of an individual. Acne is the most common skin condition that takes place when your hair follicles get plugged with dead skin cells & oil. This acne can affect people of all ages at any time. The signs and symptoms of acne depend on the severity of your conditions such as whiteheads, blackheads, tender bumps, small red bumps, pimples, nodules formation that are large, painful, & solid lumps, cystic lesions that are pus-filled lumps & creates a painful situation.
The main factors that are responsible for acne are bacteria, excessive production of oil, and presence of hair follicles that are clogged by dead skin cells or oil, & when there is an excessive activity of androgen hormone. Most of the patients move to the dermatologist for treatment of the acne but they don’t get any fruitful results. Instead of wasting time you can perform some simple home remedies for getting rid of acne & its symptoms.
Here are some of the home remedies that will give you good & effective results for dealing with acne:

1) Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is the best herb for acne as it shows anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, & anti-bacterial properties. This herb is considered as an excellent moisturizer that prevents the skin from acne & unwanted scars. It provides good & long-lasting results.
How to use:
- Take the fresh pulp of Aloe vera & collect it in a bowl.
- Apply this gel as a moisturizer to the affected area of your face for twenty minutes. After that wash your face with normal water.
- Do perform this home remedy twice in a day for good results.
2) Neem
Neem is considered as the best herb for all types of skin problems. The herb neem shows anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antifungal, antioxidant, & anti-fungal properties. It provides good results in acne and deals with all the symptoms.
How to use:
- Take a few fresh neem leaves, crush them, & make a paste.
- You can also add a pinch of pure turmeric powder in this paste.
- Apply this paste for twenty minutes on your face. After that wash the face. Do perform this remedy once daily.
3) Green Tea
Green tea is a natural detoxifier that is rich in polyphenol antioxidants named catechins. It clears the skin by removing the waste that is built up in acne sores that are opened.
How to use:
- Drink a cup of green tea daily as it removes toxins from the skin.
- You can also steep green tea for three to four minutes in boiling water.
- Let it cool down, using a cotton ball apply this to the affected area of acne.
- Allow this to dry after that rinse it with normal water.
4) Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil is extracted from the seeds of shrub jojoba. The presence of waxy substance repairs your skin naturally. Skin inflammation, redness, pimples, swelling, whiteheads, & other lesions are treated with the use of this oil.
How to use:
- Take a few drops of jojoba oil in a bowl.
- With the help of cotton ball apply this oil over your acne area.
- Apply it overnight & early in the morning wash your face with water.
5) Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is one of the best remedies for acne & scars. The anti-bacterial & anti-inflammatory property reduces inflammation & remove bacteria. Daily use of coconut oil heal the open acne sores of an individual.
How to use:
- Take a few drops of coconut oil in a bowl.
- With the help of cotton swab apply this over your skin.
- Apply this overnight and early in the morning wash it with water.
6) Turmeric
Turmeric is a good herb that shows antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, anti-bacterial, & antibiotic properties. This is an amazing herb for acne problems.
How to use:
- Take pure turmeric powder in small quantities.
- After that add pure rose water in it.
- Apply this herbal paste on your acne skin. Let it dry after that wash it with normal water.
7) Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil kills the bacteria that causes acne. It shows antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, & anti-bacterial properties. The redness, itching, & swelling related to the acne are treated with the use of this oil.
How to use:
- Take four to five drops of tea tree oil in a bowl. Add a teaspoonful of coconut oil in it.
- Mix them well & apply over the affected area of the skin.
- Leave this for twenty minutes after that rinse it with normal water.
These all are the home remedies that you can perform easily at home. You can use these effective & good remedies according to your requirements.
