INTRODUCTION
Botanical Name – Ficus carica
Family – Moraceae
FIG is also known as “Anjeer “. usually grows in hot , dry and slightly cold climatic conditions. Anjeer is a tree commonly known as Ficus tree.
AYURVEDIC PROPERTIES
- Rasa (taste) :- Madhur
- Gun (quality) :- Guru , snigadh ( moist)
- Veerya (potency) :- sheet
- Vipaka :- madhur
- Karma :- Balance vattapitta Dosha
- Projyang (part used ):- Fruits , leaves , root.
Dosage :
- Juice : 10- 20 ml
- Paste : 5-10ml
- Dry fruit – 2-3
