Diet Chart for Hyperthyroidism Patients
Foods to be Consumed | Foods to be avoided | |

Vegetables | Carrot, pumpkin, mushroom, cucumber, onion, peas. | Sweet potato, red and green chilli, jackfruit, yam. |
Grains | Barley, oatmeal, corn, brown rice, porridge. | White rice, soya floor, rye. |
Legumes | All pulses except black gram. | Soybean based products, dried and frozen products. |
Spices | Fennel, turmeric, mint, cumin, green chilli. | Red chilli, peppers. |
Oils | Cow ghee, mustard oil, olive oil, mustard oil. | Cream ,palm oil, butter. |
Nuts | Flax seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin, almonds. | Raisins, dried apple and dates. |
Dairy Product | Low fat milk, low fat butter, buttermilk. | Cream cheese, condensed milk, whole milk. |
