Burning pain or discomfort in the upper-chest and mid-chest just behind the breastbone is the condition of heartburn. It is more frequent or even interferes with your daily routine and can lead to a burning sensation in the throat, chest pain, etc.
Some foods and ingredients may intensify heartburn, such as spicy foods, citrus fruits, and vinegar.
