Banana is one of the most nutritious substances and many people consume it in different ways. Bananas contain plenty of potassium and fiber which are quite beneficial for the body. In many parts of the country, people like to cook banana vegetable and eat it. At the same time, banana chips are also easily available in the market nowadays. It is light and nutritious as well as a good snack. Let us tell you about the nutrients it provides.
- Potassium
Bananas contain plenty of potassium. Its potassium is not destroyed even after frying. Eating 50 grams of banana chips gives your body 225 ml of potassium. Potassium acts as electrolytes in the body which keeps the heartbeat normal and replenishes water in all parts of the body. Lack of potassium causes weakness, fatigue, pain and nervousness in the body. - Fiber
Bananas contain fiber and are also present in good amount in chips. You get 3 grams of fiber from 50 grams of banana chips. It fulfills 12 percent of your body’s daily fiber needs. Consuming small amounts of fiber causes digestive and intestinal problems. Fibers play an important role in cleaning the flour. The soluble fiber present in bananas also helps in reducing cholesterol levels. Drinking sufficient amount of water and eating banana chips are beneficial in the problem of constipation. - Iron
Banana chips contain a good amount of iron which helps in the formation of myoglobin and hemoglobin in the blood. Hemoglobin carries oxygen to all the cells of your body and cures anemia. Iron also increases metabolism in your body. Eating 120 grams of banana chips gives you 1.4 milligrams of iron. - Fat
They are fried in oil to prepare banana chips, due to which there is a good amount of fat in it. 30 grams of banana chips have 9.53 grams of fat, with 8.21 grams of fat saturated. Saturated fat can prove to be a harmful body for your body, it increases your cholesterol level, which increases the risk of obesity and heart problems. Too much intake of it can also cause the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Although low-fat banana chips are available in the market, it is sometimes beneficial to eat them. - Natural Sugar

Ingredients for Banana Thin and Crispy Wafers
Raw Banana – 4 (600 grams)
Water – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp or as per taste
Oil – for frying wafers
Method – How to make Banana Chips
- Dissolve 1 teaspoon of salt completely in 2 tablespoon water in a bowl. Also keep oil in the pan to heat.
- After this, take a banana and remove its green skin completely with the help of a knife and cut a little from both ends.
- Cut the chips directly into the pan to fry the chips, medium hot oil is required. To check the oil, place the hand slightly above the pan, see if there is a slight heat on the hand, then the oil has heated up. With the help of chips cutter in the same hot oil, cut the banana chips directly into the pan. Then, stir the chips little by little and let them fry on medium heat.
- When the chips fry lightly, then add ½ teaspoon salt water to it and stir them with a ladle. The sound of thunder will start coming from the oil. Fry the chips a little while stirring them till the water starts to rumble.
- After picking the fried chips in the pan and breaking them with a finger, see that the chips have become crispy. Take a mesh sieve and place it on the pan and take out the chips from the ladle. Excess oil will go back to the pan. This process is fine for frying fine things. Then, take out the chips in a plate covered with tissue paper so that the excess oil absorbs the remaining napkin.
Another way to make chips
Chips can also be cut into separate plates first. For this, place the chips cutter on a plate and tighten the banana chips. Then put all the chips in the pan one by one and fry them lightly. After this, add salt water and fry the chips as before. While cutting the chips directly in the pan, if you are feeling heat on your hand, try this method. Likewise cut all banana chips and fry them. It takes 5 minutes to fry one time chips.
Banana wafers are ready to eat. These crispy and delicious banana crispy chips are very easy to make. Whenever you want to eat some fresh snacks and keep raw bananas, make these chips and eat them with fun.
Suggestion
Salt water is added to lower the oil temperature so that the chips become crispy.
We have fried it in refined oil, but you can also fry them in any cooking oil or coconut oil.
If you want, you can keep a sieve full of chips in a bowl. Till the second banana is cut and fried, oil will be squeezed out of it in the cup.
You can make banana wafers in any of the ways given above, but it is easier and safer to put the chips in the pan tightly on the plate itself.
This does not cause heat directly on the hand. Take special care that oil splatter does not come over you.
To avoid oil splatter, move away from the oil as soon as the water starts to rumble. When the water is low, stir the chips and fry till the sound of the thunder stops.
Salt water has been added to it so that the wafers are as salty but if you want to make them more spicy, then you can add more salt, chaat masala or black pepper powder on the chips.
