INTRODUCTION
The absence of menstruation for 12 months can be a sign of menopause. Every woman has to go through the process of menopause. Every woman’s age of menopause is different. But if we talk about the average age, then it is between 40 and 50 years. A recent survey about women has shown that now the age of menopause has reduced, that is, some women start seeing its symptoms from the age of 30. Menopause at such a young age is very worrying. According to this survey, 2 percent of Indian women aged 29 to 34 experience menopause and gradually this figure has increased to 8 percent.
During menopause, a woman’s periods naturally stop. After menopause, women are unable to give birth to children, that is, after this stage women cannot have children. In this condition, many physical and mental changes take place in the body of women.
Menopause in women is not a disease. Menopause occurs when the female body naturally begins to decline in the reproductive hormone estrogen. Due to more changes in today’s diet, as you get into your late 30s, your ovaries stop making estrogen and progesterone. Due to which your fertility declines. When you reach the age of 40, your periods may be longer or shorter, heavier or lighter and more or less frequent, and then after a gap of a few years your ovaries stop fertilizing eggs. This condition is called menopause.
