Honey and Turmeric / Black Cardamom
material :
Honey – two teaspoons
Turmeric – half a teaspoon
Cardamom Powder – half a teaspoon (optional)
You can consume turmeric by mixing one spoon of honey in it. Apart from this, cardamom powder can also be consumed with honey. It can be consumed daily.
Honey can be used to treat asthma. Honey is the oldest and most natural treatment for respiratory problems. Honey is rich in anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. - The harsh cold climate and dry air can make your skin dry, itchy or irritated. So it’s important to give extra care to your skin in winters. Caring for skin in winter takes little extra time and effort because the conditions are rather extreme for our tender protective barrier. Skin gets exposed to different climatic changes in winters like cold air whipping wind sun reflecting off snow.
- Low humidity is common in winters that stealing moisture from skin every second of every day. And indoors it’s blasted with dry heat. As a result of this our skin often ends up dry flaky and itchy. And because of dryness, your skin can easily crack and bleed.
Use of some tips for winter skin care can help you to maintain your skin healthy, glowing and good looking for all seasons.
1. Keep Moisturizing, Especially your Hands
- Maintain healthy skin by keep doing moisturizing. Don’t forget to apply moisturizer on after bathing all over the body. You can also apply coconut oil.
- A hand cream must apply after each washing can help. You can wear water proof gloves when washing dishes or cleaning around the house.
- Avoid long baths and showers and use warm water for bathing.
2. Apply Sunscreen — Even on Gray Winter Day

- Also protect your hands from cold winter air with gloves or mittens, remembering to choose a pair that won’t irritate your skin. If you prefer wool gloves, put on cotton or silk glove liners first.
4. Remember to Eat Right
- Always choose right food to eat. Sometimes when skin is very dry, it can be helped by foods or supplements that contain omega-3 or omega-6 fatty acids, such as fish oil and flax seed oil.
5. Stay Hydrated
- Take good amount of water to keep your skin moist. You can also take green tea or any herbal tea to keep yourself healthy and fresh.
