INTRODUCTION
Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or venous thrombosis is a serious condition in which a blood clot forms in a vein located deep inside the body. A blood clot is a mass or clump of blood that has turned into a solid state. A blood clot can partially or completely block the flow of blood through the vein. Most cases of deep vein thrombosis occur in the lower leg, pelvis, or thigh region. However, it can occur in other parts of the body as well as in the brain, hands, liver, intestines or kidneys. In this article, we are going to explain in detail about deep vein thrombosis.
CAUSES OF DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS
Deep vein thrombosis is caused by the formation of a blood clot. A blood clot causes a blockage in the vein and prevents blood from flowing properly in the body. Blood clotting can occur due to the following reasons:
- Inactivity or reduced mobility.
- Some medicines.
RISK FACTORS FOR DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS
The following factors may increase your risk of developing deep vein thrombosis.

- D-dimer blood test – D-dimer is a type of protein produced by blood clots. In most cases of DVT, the level of D-dimer in the blood increases.
- Duplex ultrasound – This is a non-invasive test that uses sound waves to create images of how blood flows through the veins. This is the standard test performed to diagnose DVT.
- Venography – Dye is injected into a large vein in the foot or ankle. To look for the presence of blood clots, an X-ray creates clear images of the veins in the legs and feet. Since this is an invasive test, it is rarely done.
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan – This is an imaging test done to get clear images of nerves in the internal organs of the body. It is used to diagnose DVT in the abdominal (abdominal) veins.

Introduction

These five Mahabhutas are the sources of subtle energy in the body and hence they pervade our body in harmony with each other. Ayurveda works on this principle of these five great elements. Some energy sources in every person are more than other energy sources and they determine the natural system (prakriti) of that person’s body, some of the natural defects of the body are as follows:
- Vata Dosha – Excess of air and sky elements
- Pitta Dosha – Excess of fire element
- Kapha Dosha – Excess of earth and water element
Doshas affect a person’s body, tendencies (interest for food, digestion), mind and emotions.
For example, people of Kapha prakriti show strong physique, slow digestion, good memory power and strong emotional state, clear earth element. The nature of most people is made up of a combination of two doshas. When Vata, Pitta and Kapha are not in balance, symptoms corresponding to the imbalance of the doshas appear.

It is of 2 types – internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids. When the dilated veins are present inside the rectum, it is called internal piles but when present in the skin around the anus, it is called external piles.
Piles is one of the most common cause of rectal bleeding. Nearly 3 out o 4 persons suffer from hemorrhoids.

INTRODUCTION
Uric acid formed when a substance called purine is broken down in the body. Most of the uric acid produced in the body dissolves in the blood and is excreted through the kidneys. When uric acid is not able to get out of the body, then diseases like arthritis, joint pain, and gout and inflammation trouble.
Uric Acid Problem – Usually our body filters uric acid with the help of kidney, which gets out of the body with urine. If people consuming too much purine in food then it is unable to remove this uric acid from the body in proper amount, then in such a situation its amount starts increasing in the body and uric acid accumulates in the blood. High level of uric acid in the body also known as hyperuricemia. The increase uric acid causes inflammation in various muscles of the body, due to which pain starts. It also causes gout i.e. rheumatic disease. To keep uric acid under control, it is important to take special care of diet along with regular exercise, which helps to filter uric acid. That passes out of the body with urine.

Dry fruits, curd, rice, lentils and spinach are high in protein, which increases uric acid.
- Milk-Rice
If you see symptoms of increased uric acid, then avoid taking milk or rice before sleeping at night. Because due to the consumption of these things at night, uric acid starts accumulating in the body.
- Peeled Lentils
If uric acid increases, you should avoid the consumption of peeled lentils. Because the peeled lentils in pulses can increase the level of uric acid.
- Consumption of Meat, Egg and Fish
To control the rising uric acid, you should stop the consumption of eggs, meat and fish.
- Drink water as per the rules
Do not consume water while eating food, drink water one hour or one and a half hours after eating food. This will help to control uric acid in body.
HOME REMEDIES TO REDUCE THE LEVEL OF URTIC ACID IN BODY
- Eat 2 to 3 walnuts daily. This will help to decrease the increased uric acid.

- Baking soda consumption will help in reducing uric acid. For this, mix one teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water. Now drink 8 glasses of this mixture daily. WHAT IS NEPHROTIC SYNDROME?
Nephrotic syndrome is a group of symptoms. These include excess protein in the urine, low levels of protein in the blood, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, risk of blood clots, and inflammation. Nephrotic syndrome can be caused by a multiplicity of diseases that damage the kidney. If kidney is damaged then they excrete a large amount of protein through urine.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF KIDNEY IN NEPHROTIC SYNDROME?
In simple language, it can be said that the kidney acts as a filter in the body, through which the unnecessary excretory substances of the body, excess water, comes out through urine.
In nephrotic syndrome there is a kidney enlargement where sieve-like holes, excess water and excretory substances and essential proteins of the body are excreted with urine. swelling in the patient’s body decrease or increase according to the amount of protein present in the urine.
CAUSES OF NEPHROTIC SYNDROME
Nephrotic syndrome also called primary or idiopathic nephrotic syndrome. There is no actual reason for the existence of this disease. But it believe that this disease occurs due to the improper function of lymphocytes in the white cells. It is absolutely wrong to consider changes in diet or medicines responsible for this disease. 90% of the patients of this disease are children in which no definite cause of nephrotic disease is found.
In adults, less than 10% of cases of nephrotic syndrome can be caused by a different disease or cause. Such as infection, damage caused by any medicine, cancer, hereditary diseases, diabetes, S. Ale. In AD and amyloidosis etc. this syndrome can be due to the above diseases.
SYMPTOMS
Main symptoms of nephrotic syndrome:
- This disease mainly appears in children of two to six years. The incidence of this disease in persons of other ages appears to be much less than in children.
- The disease usually begins with fever and cough.
- The characteristic symptoms of the onset of the disease include swelling under the eyes and on the face. Due to swelling on the eyes, many times patients first go to the eye doctor for examination.
- This swelling is more visible when the patient wakes up in the morning, which is the hallmark of this disease. This swelling gradually subsides as the day progresses and subsides completely by evening.
- As the disease progresses, the stomach becomes bloated, there is less urination, swelling starts in the whole body and weight increases.
- Many times there is a complaint of foaming in the urine and the appearance of white spots in the place where the urine has been urinated.
- In this disease there are no symptoms like red urine, shortness of breath or increased blood pressure.
- DIAGNOSIS
Diagnosis of nephrotic syndrome: - Excessive protein in urine
- Low blood protein level
- increased cholesterol level
- Physical Examination –
During physical examination the problem can be detected by looking at patient symptoms. - Blood and urine test –
During this test patient’s blood or urine sample is examined. For this we do blood chemistry test, blood urea nitrogen test, creatinine blood test, creatinine urine test and urinalysis etc. - Ultrasound Test –
With ultrasound the damage done to the internal organs of the body can be detected. - Renal biopsy –
this procedure helpful to diagnose nephrotic syndrome. During this procedure a sample of tissue is taken from the kidney which is examined in the lab to find the cause. - COMPLICATION
- Acute kidney failure
- Hardening of the arteries and increased heart disease
- Chronic (long-term) kidney disease
- Fluid build-up in the body, Heart failure, Fluid build-up in the lungs
- Infections, such as inflammation of the respiratory tract (pneumococcal pneumonia)
- To be malnourished
- Blood clots, which can cause thrombosis (blood clotting in the vein.
CAC TREATMENT FOR NEPHROTIC SYNDROME
- Gokshura Capsules –
