BANANA
Sanskrit Name : Kadali
Latin Name : Musa paradisiaca Linn.
Family : Musaceae
Plant Part Used : Fruit , flower , stem , leaves , rhizome.
According to Ayurveda Banana balances vata dosha and pitta dosha but increase kapha dosha. Its medicinal properties help in treating impotence , male infertility and low weight.
Nutritional contents : Vitamin B6 , Vitamin C , fibre , potassium , manganese and the antioxidants glutathione , phenolics , delphidinin , rutin , naringin.
HOW TO USE BANANA
Banana Fruit :take banana fruit as per your taste after taking light food.

- Pineapples are sweet , sour and heating.
- They pacify vata and are fine in moderation for kapha.

Gastro esophageal reflux disease is a disease related to digestion. In this, the acid which helps in digesting food starts coming towards the food pipe. Due to this the problem of acid reflux or bile reflux starts occurring. The most common symptoms of GERD are heartburn and frequent sour belching.

Apple cider vinegar
It is the best remedy to drink apple cider vinegar mixed with water. Add one to two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water and drink it twenty to thirty minutes before having a meal. You need to continue this regularly for at least a few months.
Fennel
It is very beneficial for digestion. Many nutrients like vitamin B, calcium and magnesium are found in fennel, which are beneficial for the stomach . Consuming fennel relieves the problems of indigestion, stomach pain, acidity and heartburn. For this, add one spoon fennel in a glass of water and boil it. Then filter it and consume it.
Cumin seeds
It helps in dealing with acid reflux by stimulating digestion and reducing acidity issues. Add half teaspoon of cumin seeds to a cup and boil it for some time. Then let it steep for five minutes and strain it. Drink this at morning after meal.
Baking soda
Add half to one teaspoon of baking soda to a cup of water and drink it for instant relief. You may also drink aloe vera juice, as it is known for its healing and anti- inflammatory properties. Aloe vera controls inflammation in the stomach and esophagus to bring relief. Drink half cup of aloe vera juice about twenty minutes before having a meal.
Mulethi
If you are troubled by the problem of stomach acidity and heartburn, then you can use liquorice. Conssuming liquorice helps in controlling stomach acid. For this, mix honey in half spoon liquorice powder and eat it , You can consume it daily after meals. This will provide relief from problems like heartburn, stomach pain, gas and nausea.
Banana
Eating banana is very beneficial for stomach health. Banana contains abundant amount of fiber which is very benficial for the digestive process. It is rich in fiber as well as potassium which helps in preventing mucus production in the stomach.
Peppermint
Mint leaves are very beneficial for digestion. The elements found in it also removing the problem of heartburn. If its juice is consumed, it kills the bacteria producing gastric acid. Vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, C and E are found in Aloe vera juice. It removes the problem of heartburn.
