Piles a painful situation where the inside or outside veins of the anus & rectum get swollen or inflamed. Piles are also named as hemorrhoids. When a person passes stool because of the pressure on rectal area piles get aggravated. In most of the cases when the situation is not under control severe bleeding takes place.
There are different reasons for piles such as chronic constipation, obesity, lifting heavyweight, chronic diarrhea, pregnancy, family history, infection around the anal canal, sitting for a long duration, & liver cirrhosis. Eating a low fiber diet, stress, & lack of exercise causes piles. Piles can be prevented easily at home with some simple home remedies. Different natural ways that can treat piles easily are given below:
1) Radish
Radish is a well-known herb that is rich in dietary fiber. It helps in softening the hard stools & maintain proper digestion. Radish contains secondary metabolites such as glucosilinates, raphanin, & vitamin C that lowers the inflammation in piles patient. This is also beneficial in relieving pain, itching, & swelling.
How to use:
- you can eat radish in raw vegetable form. This helps in removing constipation.
- Prepare fresh juice of Radish & drink this once daily on empty stomach.
2) Figs
Figs is loaded with vitamin A, B, & minerals such as iron, calcium, potassium, & phosphorus. It is rich in high fiber content & maintains good digestive health. Figs help in improving the overall health & cure constipation.
How to use:
- soaked two to three dried figs in a glass of water overnight. Consume it early in the morning on an empty stomach.
- You can also eat ripe fruit of figs as it is good for health.
3) Aloe vera
Aloe vera helps in reducing inflammation, itching, pain, burning sensation, & irritation. This herb shows anti-inflammatory, analgesic, & antioxidant properties.
How to use:
- Take the fresh pulp of Aloe vera and prepare its juice daily. Drink this early in the morning on an empty stomach.
- If you are dealing with external pile mass than take fresh Aloe vera pulp to make a paste. Apply this over the affected area for reducing itching.
4) Black Cumin Seeds
Black cumin seeds prevent the formation of piles as it is rich in fiber content. It helps in reducing pain, itching, swelling, & irritation related to piles patients.
How to use:
- Take a tablespoon of unroasted black cumin & a tablespoon of roasted black cumin. Make a fine powder of cumin seeds & store it in a container. Consume half teaspoon of this powder with a glass of water on an empty stomach.

5) Mango
Mango seeds are also beneficial for piles patients. It reduces pain, swelling, inflammation, irritation, & itching of piles. The unwanted pile mass is also treated with this amazing home remedy.

6) Turnip

- Take a glass of buttermilk add 1/4 tsp of roasted cumin seeds powder, a pinch of black pepper, & black salt. Drink this drink once daily for getting benefits.
- Take a glass of buttermilk add a teaspoonful of bitter gourd leaves juice in it. Drink this once daily.
8) Triphala
Triphala is a herbal powder that you can prepare at home for getting relief from piles. This powder is prepared from three fruits Amla (Emblica officinalis), Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), & Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica).
