Constipation has become a daily affair for some people. And, we usually consider it a disease; While this is a symptom. If it is not treated at the right time, it can turn into pelvic diseases and stomach disorders. But we often take constipation carelessly.
How does Constipation Occur?
Constipation means different things to different people. For some people it may be untimely stool, and for some people only hard stool may pass. Whatever the case may be, the root cause of this problem is our unhealthy lifestyle.
Inappropriate work time, less time to rest and the consumption of too much junk food causes damage to our body which we often ignore. In addition, a lack of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables in the diet, especially food that is low in fiber, can cause constipation. Low intake of water is also another reason.

As the name suggests, this asana helps in expelling gas from the body. This is a common problem for most of us suffering from regular constipation. This asana can also help in relieving many digestive disorders including indigestion. It also helps in relieving acid reflux, which is caused due to indigestion.
4. Butterfly Pose
This forward bending posture helps to improve our digestive system and also relieves gas, cramps and stomach bloating. This asana also helps in reducing stress which is extremely important for good digestion.

Home Remedies for Constipation
1. Eating free from blemishes
This means stay away from cold food and drinks, nuts, salads and beans. Eat hot fresh food, hot drinking water, well cooked vegetables.
2. Triphala
This is a sure way to prevent constipation. For this, one quarter triphala, half a teaspoon of coriander and one fourth.
Take a teaspoon of cardamom. Grind them and take them twice a day.
3. Milk and Ghee
Take one or two tablespoons of ghee in a cup of hot milk. Drink it before bed at night.
4. Bell
Take half a cup of pulp and a teaspoon of quality before dinner. You can also take bell syrup.
5. Muleti
Take a teaspoon of liquorices powder. Add a teaspoon of jaggery to it. Make a mixture and mix it in hot milk. Milk at night.
6. Roasted fennel
Chew a spoonful of roasted fennel at night before bedtime. Take it with hot water.
7. Fig
Take figs in hot water. It contains a lot of fiber. This you daily can eat.
Herbal Remedies for Constipation
Chandigarh Ayurved Centre introduces a kit known as “Colon Cleanse Kit” for ayurvedic treatment of constipation. This kit comprises four herbal remedies that are formulated from various herbs.
Colon Cleanse Kit
1. Sheet Dhara Syrup:
This herbal syrup is prepared from ingredients such as ajwain satav, mushak kapoor, peppermint, etc. This syrup naturally relieves the symptoms like bloating, blenching, nausea, vomiting, feeling of discomfort, etc. The regular use of this herbal syrup neutralizes the high acid content, reduces abdominal pain, & cramps.
Recommended Dosage: Take half teaspoonful of this syrup in half a cup of water. Drink this mixture twice daily on an empty stomach.
2. Liver Care Tablet:
These tablets are purely ayurvedic formulation. It maintains the proper functioning of the liver and stimulate the growth of new liver cells. Liver Care Tablets contains Ingredients like Kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata), Kutaki (Picrorhiza kurroa), Bhumi amla (phyllanthus niruri), Giloy (Tinopora Cordifolia), Yavakshar (Hordeum vulgare), Imli Kshar (Tamarindus indica), Mukta Shukta pisti etc. These herbs balance excess Pitta Dosha and helps in problems like abdominal bloating, flatulence, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, indigestion, relieves constipation and reduce abdominal discomfort.

3. Panchasakar Churna:
Panchasakar churna is an Ayurvedic formulation that consists of mainly five ingredients as its name describes. This medicine is known to have properties like laxatives and purgatives etc. The Churna contains ingredients such as Shunthi (Zingiber officinale), Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), Trivrith (Operculina turpethum), Pippali (Piper longum), and Sauvarchala lavana. It decreases the abdominal pain, bloating, constipation that maintains a healthy colon and supports the overall health of the body.
Recommended Dosage: Take 1 teaspoonful with Lukewarm water at bedtime.
4. Amrit Ras:
Amrit Ras is very beneficial to rejuvenate the body, mind, and soul. It balances and improves metabolism. Amrit Ras is caffeine free and contains vitamin A, B, B12, C, E, Calcium, Iron, and Zinc, Folic acid, so as to maintain healthy bones, skin, and muscles. It contains ingredients such as –Amla, Harad, Bibhitaki, Trivrit, Ghrit Kumari, & Giloy that are rich in anti-oxidants & eliminate damaging free radicals from the body.

5. Triphala Capsules:

Diet Chart for Diarrhoea
A Person is considered to have diarrhoea if a person has loose bowel movement three or more times a day. Diarrhoea is a condition in which loose, watery stools (bowel movement) appear. Acute watery diarrhoea is a condition that lasts a short time. It is a common problem that usually lasts about one or two days. In a condition of the weakened immune system, chronic watery diarrhoea may represent a life-threatening illness. Diarrhoea is an important cause of under nutrition. This is because patients eat less during diarrhoea and their ability to absorb nutrients is reduced.
We recommend a low fibre and low fat diet which helps to restore the nutrients that have been lost due to diarrhoea. Avoid high fibre diet, spicy foods, milk, artificial sweeteners, and fried foods.

When we heard about dengue fever it makes us scary as we lose whole energy and have a high-grade fever. Dengue fever is transmitted by a mosquito named as Aedes mosquito. It is a viral fever that is related to the viruses that cause yellow fever. Dengue fever can affect anyone but is more severe in people with compromised immunity.
This fever can be named with other names like dandy fever or breakbone fever. If you are having mild dengue fever it causes rash, muscle and joint pain, high fever. Severe dengue fever causes dengue hemorrhagic fever that causes a drop in blood pressure, severe bleeding, & sometimes death.

Diabetes mellitus a serious disease in which a person’s body cannot control the level of sugar in the blood. Diabetes Mellitus is a disorder of carbohydrate metabolism characterized by the impaired ability of the body to produce or responds to insulin. Thereby maintain the proper level of sugar (glucose) in the blood. Diet Chart for Cataract
A condition of the eye in which the lens of the eye becomes cloudy is called cataract. This causes vision to worsen, making it especially difficult to see fine details clearly. Some people’s vision is only slightly affected, whereas others might lose their eyesight very quickly. Its progression will depend on things like the exact type of cataract. Cataracts mostly affect people over 50, and the risk increases with age: About 20 out of 100 people between the ages of 65 and 74 have a cataract. Mostly cataract is related to aging. Cataract condition becomes very common in older people. A cataract can occur in one eye or both eyes. A person with a cataract in one eye usually goes on to succeed a cataract in the other eye as well.
A cataract condition is not contagious, non-communicable and cannot spread from person to person.
Eating foods high in antioxidants like vitamins C, A and E may helpful in the prevention of cataract. If you already have cataracts, it may slow their growth.

Blemishes is a type of mark, spot, discoloration, or flaw that appears on the skin that may disturb the person’s life emotionally. People who have fair skin and who tend to blush easily might be at a higher risk of having blemishes regularly. The condition appears more often among women, but men tend to have more severe symptoms.
