Amino acids are organic compounds made up of nitrogen , hydrogen , carbon and oxygen along with a variable side chain group . Some of the essential amino acids of our body are methionine , threonine ,lysin , isoleucine ,histidine , leucine , tryptophan etc .
Types of amino acids :- There are two type of amino acids which are
1 Essential Amino Acid :- They can’t be made by your body and need other sources to fulfill their need in the body . Sources of essential amino acid are E.g. Meat , Egg , Poultry etc .
2 Non Essential Amino Acid :- These type of amino acid can be made by the body itself and there are no need to take them from outside sources .
IMPORTANCE OF VARIOUS AMINO ACIDS :-
1 Valine :- It is a three branched chain amino acid meaning it has a chain branching off to one side of its molecular structure . It help stimulate muscle growth and regeneration and involve in energy production .
2 Phenylalanine :- It is a precursor for the neurotransmitters tyrosine , epinephrine , dopamine , norepinephrine and epinephrine . It play an important role in structural and functional properties of proteins and enzymes and the production of other amino acid .
3 Threonine :- It is a principal part of structural proteins such as collagen and elastin , which are important components of skin and connective tissue . It play important role in fat metabolism and immune functions .
4 Tryptophan :- Though often associated with causing drowsiness , tryptophan has many other functions . It is needed to maintain proper nitrogen balance and is a precursor to serotonin , a neurotransmitter that regulates your appetite , aleep and mood .
5 Methionine :- It plays an important role in metabolism and detoxification . It is also necessary for tissue growth and absorption of zinc , minerals and selenium that are vital to your health .
6 Isoleucine :- These are three branched chain amino acids which help in muscle metabolism and is heavily concentrated in muscle tissue . It is very useful for hemoglobin , immune function and energy regulation .
7 Leucine :- It is also a branched chain amino acid that is critical for protein synthesis and muscle repair . It also help regulate blood sugar level , produce growth hormones and stimulates wound healing .
8 Lysine :- It plays a major roles in protein synthesis , enzyme production , hormone and absorption of calcium . It also help in energy production , immune function and the production of collagen and elastin.
9 Histidine :- It is used to produce histamine , a neurotransmitter that is used to immune response , sleep wake cycles , sexual function and digestion . It is critical for maintaining the myelin sheath a protective barrier that surrounds your nerve cells .
OTHER BENIFITS OF AMINO ACIDS ARE :-
1 Help to improve Mood and Sleep :- Serotonin is an essential regulator of sleep , mood and behaviors . While low serotonin level have been linked to depressed mood , sleep disturbances etc
2 Boost Exercise Performance :- The three branched chain essential amino acids are widely used to alleviate fatigue , improve athletic performance and stimulate muscle recovery after excercise .
3 Can Prevent Muscle Loss :- Muscle loss is a common side effect of prolonged illness and bed rest especially in older adults .Essential amino acids have been found to prevent muscle breakdown and preserve lean body mass.
4 Can Promote Weight Loss :- Some studies reveal that amino acids may effective in stimulating fat loss

What is biotin?
Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin. It is part of the family of vitamin B. It is also known as Vitamin H. The body requires biotin to convert certain nutrients or nutrients into energy. It also helps in keeping hair, skin and nails healthy.
If there is a deficiency of biotin in the body, there may be a problem of hair loss or skin rash. Its deficiency can also cause problems like weakness in the nails. However, cases of its deficiency are rare.
- In most cases, biotin from food helps in human work. But if one is not getting enough biotin, he may be prone to hair loss, skin rash and rash, dandruff or dandruff.
- However, many people these days also start taking biotin supplements to get extra benefits or to overcome the problem of hair loss. It has both advantages and disadvantages.
That is why in this article, I will tell you what biotin is and how it helps to overcome the problem of hair loss.
- Keratin is a basic protein that produces hair, skin, and nails. It is clear that biotin improves the infrastructure of keratin in the body. But as of now researchers are not unanimous, what is the role of biotin in hair and skin care?
There has also been little research on the role of biotin in hair growth. To date, there is little evidence to confirm that excessive intake of biotin helps increase hair growth. In this regard, I have studied two recent authentic reports on biotin.
- The first study was done in the year 2012. Women who were troubled by thin hair and hair fall were chosen as the subject. These women were given oral Marine Protein Supplement or MPS twice a day for 90 days. There was a lot of biotin in this supplement.
- At the beginning of the study, a digital image of the women’s scalp and affected organs was also taken. In addition, the number of ruptured hairs was also counted after everytime woman’s hair was thoroughly washed.
- After a 90-day experiment, researchers found that all women who had consumed plenty of biotin began to grow in their hair. In addition, there is a decrease in the area of the head that was causing hair loss. Hair is healthier than before and hair loss problem is much less than before.
- The second study was done in the year 2015. This study was also done by the first study researchers. It was found that the full benefit of the subject involved in the experiment was achieved by consuming biotin continuously for 90 to 180 days.
How much should be consumed daily?
There are very few cases of biotin deficiency in the body. But there are still many problems that can result from biotin deficiency. In such a situation, dermatologists keep many things in mind to consume it. These things also include the age, sex and health of the patient.
Experts however recommend that in this case, a healthy person of 10 years or above can consume 30 to 100 Mcg biotin daily. But biotin should never be taken without doctor’s advice.
Although more research is needed to know about the benefits of using biotin on hair growth, but there are also many benefits of biotin intake that have been proved in all research. like,
Boosts metabolism
Biotin comes from the family of vitamin B. It is one of several types of vitamin B. It helps in keeping the metabolism of human healthy. Biotin converts glucose present in carbohydrates into energy. Apart from this, it also helps in increasing the amount of amino acids. This helps in maintaining the normal functioning of the body.
In addition, by the use of biotin,
- There is a decrease in irritation.
- Improve cognitive function
- Keeps blood sugar of diabetes patients low
- Good fat i.e. HDL increases cholesterol.
- Bad fat (LDL) reduces cholesterol.
Risks and Warnings
Including biotin-rich foods in your diet does not pose any risk. But whenever you include a new supplement in your routine, it is very important to consult a doctor first.
Biotin does not make any specific reaction with any other element. But the doctor can confirm whether or not any other drug is reacted with this supplement. Apart from this, the doctor can give more accurate information about the dosage and potency of the drug as well as the damage.
Although biotin is a water soluble vitamin. Therefore, excess amount of biotin present in the body is removed from the body through urine or urine. This is much less likely to cause any adverse effects of overdose on the body.
But if you notice any undesirable effects on the body after taking biotin, such as skin rashes, then a doctor should be contacted immediately.
High intake of biotin in the body,
- Decreased vitamin C level
- Decreased vitamin B6 level
- Increased blood sugar intake
- Decreased insulin production
In what time do the results appear?
- Most people do not see its benefits in the first and second months after the intake of biotin. It should be consumed for a few months for better results. It is very important to follow this rule.
- If you are thinking of increasing your biotin intake through food, then you will have to consume biotin rich food daily for several consecutive months. But if you want to improve the level of biotin through supplements, then you should consult a doctor.
- According to limited research results, it has been found in the study of 2012 and 2015 that results start appearing after 90 days of intake. These symptoms include hair growth and glow in the skin. It can be understood that the longer it is consumed, the better the results will start getting.
- If you have problems with hair thinning or hair loss, biotin can help in healthy hair growth. In many research, it has been found that excessive intake of biotin increases the quality, denseness and shine of the hair.
- You can also consume biotin through your diet. So, if there are problems, first of all contact the doctor. They may advise you to make the necessary changes in catering or to take biotin supplements.
- But if there is any unnecessary change or problem in the body due to the use of biotin, then stop the drug and contact the doctor immediately.

Antioxidants or antibodies are compounds that are mixed with small amounts of other substances to inhibit their reaction with the oxygen of the atmosphere. These compounds are also called Oxidation inhibitors and stabilizers. That is, anti-oxidants are molecules that protect other molecules from oxidation or slow down the oxidation process of other molecules. Oxidation is a type of chemical action by which electrons or hydrogen are transferred from a substance to an oxidizing agent.
Antioxidants are used in medical science and industry. Antioxidants are added to petrol. These antioxidants do not allow the formation of viscosity-causing substances that are harmful to the internal combustion engine. Substituted phenols and derivatives of phenylenediamine are often used for this purpose.
Antioxidant in Therapeutics
Although oxidation reactions are very important for life, they can also be harmful. Oxidation reactions can produce free radicals, which initiate chain reactions that damage cells. Antioxidants themselves are oxidized to these free radicals (meaning the free radicals are ‘eaten’), which helps to break the chain reaction. Taxes inhibit these chain reactions that occur on cells. Therefore, there are often antioxidant reducing agents, such as thiol, ascorbic acid or polyphenols, etc.
It is believed that oxidative stress is the cause of many diseases. Therefore, in pharmacology, antibiotics are intensively studied, especially for trauma and neurodegenerative diseases. Oxygen stress is the cause and result of diseases.
Antioxidants are used extensively as a complementary food.
ANTIOXIDANT FOODS
Dark chocolate
Chocolates are not good for health. Dark chocolate is nutritious and full of minerals and antioxidants. Antioxidants have many health benefits. This reduces the risk of developing heart diseases
Blueberry
Although blueberries are low in calories, but are a rich source of nutrients and antioxidants. Studies show that blueberries have more antioxidants than any other fruits and vegetables. Blueberry neutralizes harmful free radicals and reduces inflammation.
Strawberry
Red and juicy berries are very popular among people and are a good source of vitamin C and antioxidants. They contain a type of antioxidant, called anthocyanin, which gives strawberries a bright red color. Anthocyanin reduces the risk of developing heart disease and lowers the level of bad cholesterol.
Beans
Beans are readily available and are quite beneficial for considerable health. Rich in fiber and antioxidants, beans keep you healthy. By including beans in the diet, you can suppress the growth of cancer cells in different parts of the body.
Sugar beets
Beet has a mild earthy taste and is rich in fiber, potassium, iron and folate, and antioxidants. Vegetables made from this contain antioxidants called betalains, which gives beet red color. Beetroot is known to suppress inflammation and reduce the risk of cancer in the stomach and digestive system.

CoQ-10, synthesized by the body, is a fat-soluble compound (chemical), which is necessary for the proper functioning and chemical reactions of many organs in the body. It acts as an antioxidant (cell-damaging substance), neutralizing free radicals (waste products made in the body during energy production).
Primary dietary sources of CoQ10 include oily fish (such as salmon and tuna), organ meats (such as liver), and whole grains. Most individuals obtain sufficient amounts of CoQ10 through a balanced diet, but supplementation may be useful for individuals with particular health conditions.
IS CoQ-10 an essential element of the body?
We like CoQ-10 become regular in our body, so it does not come in the definition of essential elements. With aging, its production in the body starts decreasing. By the age of 40, the level of CoQ-10 remains 95.3% in the liver, 72.63% in the kidney and 68.23% in the heart. At the age of 80, its volume in the body remains 50%. A very small amount of CoQ-10 (5 mg daily) is available from a normal diet. It is found in abundance only in Kaleji (meat of animal parts), which we do not eat regularly. Sometimes in some diseases its need increases and the body is not able to produce as much. In such a situation it is necessary to take the capsules of CoQ-10. Due to lack of CoQ-10 in the body, heart diseases are arrhythmia, atherosclerosis, congestive heart failure, angina and high blood pressure and diabetes, gum disease and stomach abscesses etc.
How CoQ-10 works?
CoQ-10 is an important component of the electron transport chain in mitochondria. In mitochondria, life energy adenosine triphosphate or ATP is produced by the phosphorylation (oxidative phosphorylation) of elements derived from the metabolism of fatty acids, sugars and proteins. The enzyme mechanism used for CoQ-10 electron transport chains is the major sub-component of complexes I, II and III, respectively. It changes the location of electrons from complex I (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide dehydrogenase) and complex II (succinate dehydrogenase) to complex III (ubiquinone-cytochrome c reductase). In this way it serves a very specific role in cellular energy production.
Functions of CoQ-10 in the body
The basic function of CoQ-10 is to produce energy in cells. It is a major component of the internal membrane of mitochondria in cells. The mitochondria are considered to be the power-houses of the cell and this is the life energy ATP used for various cellular metabolic functions and production of many elements. (Adenosine triphosphate ATP). CoQ-10 is an extremely powerful antioxidant like vitamins E and C which protect our entire body and soft organs from external and internal deadly free radicals. Apart from these, it also performs many important functions in the body such as protecting cell membranes and helping in cellular signaling system.
Food that contains CoQ-10 include
- Spinach
- Broccoli
- Soybeans
- Whole grains
- Chicken
- Organ meats
- Grapes
BENEFITS OF COQ-10
- Improve heart health
- Reducing migraines
- Easing statin side effects
