Rice Idli Recipe / Idli Recipe: Idli, popularly known as Breakfast dish, is a favorite of all. It must be included in your breakfast list once a week. HOME REMEDIES FOR DEHYDRATION

During the summer, all of you must have felt that you feel very thirsty but even after drinking water, this thirst does not quench. In fact, this is due to dehydration in the body. Dehydration or dehydration is a common summer disease. Water is present in about one third of our body. In the summer season, due to drinking less water and excessive sweating, the balance of water and salt in the body deteriorates, causing many problems. Although this problem can happen to people of any age, but young children come in the grip of it very quickly.
The cells in our body need oxygen to function smoothly and they get this oxygen from water. In such a situation, if there is a lack of water in the body, the supply of oxygen is affected and physical health starts deteriorating. If you do not treat dehydration at the right time, then later your difficulties may increase significantly.
CAUSES OF DEHYDRATION IN:
Lack of water in the body can be due to many reasons. Usually, the problem of dehydration (dehydration) occurs due to staying in the heat for too long and not drinking enough water during that time. Apart from this, due to prolonged exercise, frequent urination, high fever, frequent diarrhea and some other diseases, there may be a lack of water in the body.
DEHYDRATION SYMPTOMS IN:
There is a lot of thirst when dehydration occurs and this thirst does not quench even after drinking water. In addition, low blood pressure, rapid breathing, dry lips and tongue, reduced urination, constipation, muscle spasms and pain, severe fatigue are the main symptoms of dehydration. Dehydration headache occurs in most people due to dehydration. That is why do not ignore if you have a severe headache during summer time.
If we talk about signs of dehydration in children, then their lips start to dry and they do not get urine for many hours. Due to vomiting or excessive diarrhea, the amount of important minerals like potassium, sodium in the body decreases significantly. In such a situation, if they are not replenished, then the body starts feeling more weak. Follow household or Ayurvedic remedies to avoid side effects of dehydration or contact your nearest doctor if the condition becomes severe.
HOME REMEDIES FOR DEHYDRATION IN:
If there is a lack of water in the body, you can get relief from this problem by adopting some home remedies. However, if the situation is very serious and the home remedies are not getting relief, then contact the doctor immediately. Let us know some of the major home remedies to avoid dehydration.
- Drink maximum amount of water. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day.
- Eat lemonade, coconut water, shikanji or other nutritious beverages.
- Eat fruits that have high water content. For this, eat fruits like banana, watermelon, melon, cucumber, papaya, orange etc. daily. Keep in mind that never eat chopped fruits as it increases the risk of infection.
- In summer, take at least one bowl of curd or buttermilk daily. The good bacteria present in yogurt helps in keeping the body healthy, as well as there is no lack of water in the body due to the consumption of curd.
- During exercise or gym, excessive amount of sweat is released from the body due to which there is lack of electrolyte in the body. To compensate for this, after the exercise, eat fresh fruit juice.
- Make ORS solution at home and drink it three to four times a day. It is the most effective home remedy to get relief from dehydration.
Ayurvedic measures to avoid dehydration:
Along with home remedies, you can also adopt Ayurvedic remedies to avoid dehydration. There are many medicines mentioned in Ayurveda, the use of which can reduce the effects of dehydration in the summer season. Following are some of the major measures.
1 – Fennel seeds:
Many times, due to diarrhea, such a large amount of water is released from the body that the patient becomes a victim of dehydration. In this case, fennel seeds prove to be very beneficial for them. According to Ayurveda, aniseed is cold and helps to eliminate bacteria responsible for diarrhea, which prevents the problem of dehydration.
Dosage and method of intake: Boil half a teaspoon of fennel in one liter of water and make fennel water. After cooling it, drink a cup three to four times a day.
2 – Basil:
Tulsi has a lot of medicinal properties and for this reason it is used in the treatment of many diseases. According to religious beliefs, this plant is also worshiped in our country. Basil leaves play an important role in relieving stomach pain caused by dehydration. It helps in keeping the body temperature cool when dehydration occurs.
Dosage and method of intake: Tulsi ingredients are easily available in the market nowadays. These are extracts of basil leaves. Mix two drops of basil extract in a cup of plain water and consume it twice a day.
3 – Hibiscus flower:
Hibiscus flower has been considered very useful in Ayurveda. Hibiscus tea keeps you from many diseases. The quantity of vitamin C in this flower is very high and it is very beneficial to consume it when there is lack of water in the body. It rapidly reduces the signs of dehydration.
Dosage and method of intake: Take one-fourth cup of water, add one-fourth cup of jaggery leaves and some rose leaves and boil it to make tea. Mix one teaspoon of aloe vera juice in one cup of this tea and consume it twice daily in sin.
4 – Sugarcane Juice:
Important nutrients like calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and manganese are found in high amounts in the sugarcane juice. These nutrients are very deficient in the body due to dehydration. Consuming sugarcane juice gives you all these electrolytes back.
Dosage and method of intake: Add equal quantity of water to a cup of sugarcane juice, dilute the juice and consume it two to three times a day.
5 – Giloy juice:
In most cases, the patient suffers from dehydration due to infection related to digestion. In this case, drinking Giloy juice is very beneficial. This increases the immunity power of the body and provides quick relief to the patient.
Dosage and method of intake: Nowadays, Giloy juice is easily available in the market. Mix equal quantity of water in two to three teaspoons of Giloy juice and consume it once a day.
6 – Drink plenty of liquid:
Do not let the body lack water at all. The body needs 70 percent water. In this way, increase water intake. Drink two-three liters of water throughout the day. Keep drinking water even when you are not thirsty. Also, juice prepared from fresh fruits, coconut water, vine syrup, drinking lemonade are also healthy drinks to keep you safe from many diseases in summer.
7 – Yogurt is important:
If you have vomiting and diarrhea, eating yogurt can be beneficial. Yogurt is easily digested. If you eat black salt and roasted cumin in it, the taste will also increase.
8 – Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables:
Eat fruits such as watermelon, melon, cucumber, cucumber, grapes, oranges, papaya these days. Eating zucchini, tomatoes, etc. in the vegetable will be beneficial.
9 – Banana:
Banana contains more potassium. When dehydration occurs, the amount of potassium in the body decreases. In this case, eat two bananas daily.
10 – Drink coconut water:
On dehydration, drink coconut water. Drinking a glass of coconut water removes the lack of water in the body. It also reduces the amount of calories, so there is no fear of gaining weight.
11 – Buttermilk remove dehydration:
Curd you eat daily, you can also make buttermilk at home with the same yogurt. Drink a glass of buttermilk before leaving the house. Even if you sweat from your body, you will not have any complaint of dehydration. To make buttermilk at home, add curd to the mixi. Add water, black salt, roasted cumin and plain salt to it and blend it in the mixer. You can also add mint leaves to it for flavor.
12 – Drink lemonade:

- 1 cup sago
- 1 liter milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon Ghee
- 1/4 cup almonds, silver coating

How to make Sabudana Kheer Recipe
- To make sago kheer, first soak the sago in water for one hour. Now give milk and dal in a saucepan.
- Add sugar and cook until the sugar melts. After the milk boils, reduce the flame and let it cook till the milk has reduced to half.
- Pour 2-1 / 2 cups of water in another saucepan. When the water starts boiling add sago in it and cook till it is cooked. After cooking, drain the water and keep the sago in a separate bowl.
- Now put Sabudana and cardamom powder in milk and let it cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Turn off the gas after 10 minutes and serve hot.
- Heat ghee in a tempering pan. Add almonds and cook for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds add the seeds and cook for 10 seconds. Turn off the gas and pour it into the kheer.
- Serve Sago Kheer for festival or for dessert after daily dinner.

Patient Story – Shiwansh, Suffering from Eczema

Mr Shiwansh a 25 years old student from Ghaziabad visit our clinic (CHANDIGARH AYURVED CENTRE) for the treatment of Eczema. He told during his history that he is suffering with Eczema since childhood. He is diagnosed with this disease when studying in 8th standard and started treatment from there . He after taking medication for 6 months doesn’t get any satisfactory response therefore the family decide to change the doctor .
But the family get worried when the doctor told them there is no permanent cure of disease and the long term treatment plan . They tried medication from many different hospitals but with no permanent relief . He suffered from many years and take medication from different hospital . He then visit Chandigarh for further study and came to know about ayurvedic treatment for the same .
He then search through internet about the ayurvedic treatment and came to know about Chandigarh Ayurved Centre and see the testimony of the patient on you tube . He then realize and want to try the ayurvedic treatment for the disease . He then contact the doctor on phone and tell all his history along with the reports he had with him . The doctor then tell him about the ayurvedic treatment and the panchakarma therapies for the same and also the permanent cure of disease . He then came to visit our clinic and after hearing all his history and examination of the patient Vaidya Karanvir Singh tell the patient about ayurvedic treatment and the panchkarma therapy about the same . He then took the medication along with the panchkarma therapies for 2 weeks and get 65 % cured . He get relief in the movement and stiffness of joint along with the skin . He continue taking medication and get 90% cured after 3 months of treatment .
TREATMENT GIVEN TO THE PATIENT :-
1. Detox Premium Powder:

6 PATRA PINDA SWEDA :-
In other terms, Patra Pinda Sweda is known as Elakizhi, and is described as a form of sweat therapy prepared from herbal ingredients such as the leaves of medicinal plants. Different leaves are selected for this procedure depending on the disease to be treated and the dosha involved in causing the disorder. The commonly used leaves of the plants are Eranda (Ricinus communis), Nirgundi (Vitex negundo), Arka (Calotropis gigantea), etc.
Procedure – The fresh leaves of different plants are collected, sliced and tied in a bolus. Then, the bolus is placed in a pan and heated. Alternatively, it may be dipped in herbal oils that are being heated at a constant temperature. Once the bolus is sufficiently heated, it is removed and gently rubbed over the joints and other affected areas. The bolus should be changed with another heated one once it cools down to maintain the temperature at the site being treated. Once the treatment is over, the treated parts are wiped with a clean and dry tissue paper.
7 VIRECHAN :-
Virechana is a Sanskrit word that means “laxative” or “purging” and may refer to any substance used to induce purging. It mainly includes the administration of purgative substances for the cleansing of pitta through the lower pathways.
Procedure –This therapy involves the intake of Ayurvedic and herbal medicines that destroy the doshas and toxin from the body and bring them to the abdomen. As Pitta is situated at the level of intestines, it is best to expel toxins through the anal route. The Ayurvedic medications that are used for the therapy may vary from person to person depending on the patient’s digestion strength. During the whole treatment, the patient will be subjected to oral intake of Ayurvedic medicines followed by fermentation. The patient will also be subjected to a personalized light and warm diet.

When guests come to your house, you would think, “What recipe to make for guests”, then you can make the best ‘fruit custard recipe’. This recipe is rich in flavor as well as healthy. Everyone likes to use milk and fruit in this, this fruit custard recipe, so now what are you thinking what recipe to make on the weekend?
Fruit custard recipe
- 1 liter full cream milk
- 2 tablespoons custard powder
- 1 apple cut into small pieces
- By removing 1 pomegranate
- 10-12 grapes cut into 2 pieces
- 1 Kiwi cut into small pieces (you can take any fruit according to your favorite or season)
- 10-12 cashew nuts
- Sugar to taste
HOW TO MAKE CUSTARD
- Take out half a cup of cold milk and the rest of the milk, keep boiling on the gas, start boiling the milk, reduce the gas and add 3 to 4 tsp sugar to it.
- In a bowl, which was half a cup of milk, the custard powder mixes well
- Boil the custard milk on a low flame by boiling it on the gas, pouring it from the top in a thin rage and stirring it with a similar spoon so that the milk does not thicken (burn) for 5-7 minutes.
- When it is thick, take it out in a bowl and keep the bowl in a pot with water and cool it by stirring it with a spoon so that the cream does not get frozen
- When the custard milk cools down, keep it in the freeze for 30-40 minutes and add all the chopped fruits and pomegranates (save some pomegranate seeds for garnishing)
- And when the fruit custard is ready, keep it in the freeze whenever you serve, garnish with cashew nuts and pomegranate from above and serve delicious fruit custard.

What is Common Cold?
Cold is also known as Rhinitis or Nasopharyngitis. It is a disease caused by infection of the respiratory tract. In this, the nose of the person is affected. Common cold is caused by virus infection. The most common cause of a cold is rhinovirus infection. In a cold, a person has to face problems like running water from the nose sneezing, sore throat, nasal congestion.

Turmeric and Milk:

What is heart blockage?
The problem of heart blockage is known as conduction disorder in the medical term. Heart blockage is a problem associated with electrical signals in the heart.
