Diet charts and methods to build a muscular body, usually we all know that the body of workouts or gym people looks very different from normal people. People do gym or workout for different purpose. Some people want to reduce their body weight, while some people do workouts to build muscular body or muscles and abs. But to build a muscular body, not only doing gym or workout is everything, but proper diet also has an important role in it.
If you do not follow the correct diet chart then the color of your hard work will not be fully visible on your body. Nutrients needed to eat before the gym
The main macro carbs used by your body are fat and protein. Apart from unhealthy carbs and fat, all are useful to you.
Fat is the main source of fuel when you exercise for a long time in the gym. Tolerant athletes burn more fat, and furthermore, when you push yourself to do another set of lunges / push-ups, you’re actually trying to recruit carbs (or glucose) as a source of fuel. Start burning fat instead.
Carbs: Carbs are used when you do high intensity and short time workouts. The first sources of fuel in your body are carbs in the form of glucose.
Glucose is stored through the blood as glycogen to the muscles and liver. Glycogen breaks down into glucose whenever the body needs fuel. When you do not consume good carbs, your muscles or liver will not have enough glycogen to convert to glucose.
And so, you will start feeling weak and tired quickly. Therefore, consuming carbs as nutrition before exercise is essential.
Proteins: Proteins help to heal muscles and prevent muscle injury. Therefore, when you consume protein as part of the nutrition before your workout, you recover faster and will become toned.
Protein synthesis is unregulated by the consumption of carbs and fat. Deleted levels of either of these two can often impede protein synthesis.
In addition, when you consume protein before exercise, muscle strength increases.
How much nutrition is necessary before the gym?
Whether it is a tolerable exercise or a high-intensity exercise, you need to maintain the number of carbs, protein, and fat you consume for optimal functioning of your bones, muscles, and brain.

What to eat before the gym?
Eat a diet containing all macro (carbs, fat and protein) 2-3 hours before a workout.
You can consume carb rich and protein rich food within 2 hours from the workout.
Any fruit or yogurt 45-60 minutes before the workout.
The less time you have left in your workout, the more simple food you should take.
You can take any carbs and protein-rich beverage found in the market 30 minutes before a workout.

If 1 hour or less is left in the gym
- 1 banana / orange / apple
- 1 cup Greek yogurt and peaches
- Black Coffee and Multigrain Biscuits
- If you have 2 hours to do the gym
- Oatmeal by adding banana or apple pieces and papaya in a medium size bowl
- 1 tablespoon sunflower / almond butter and a piece of bread

- If you have 2-3 hours left in the gym
- Grilled rice with lean protein, cauliflower rice and roasted nuts

Food list to eat before gym

Egg whitening omelets contain high amounts of protein and low levels of cholesterol and calories.
Before your workout, add some onions, tomatoes and capsicum for protein and good carb rich food. You can eat it within two-three hours or within one-two hours.
2. Banana Before Gym
Bananas are a great way to fuel your energy reserves if you have missed two to three hours or before a workout.
They are rich in good carbs and potassium, have low calorie intake and promote quick energy. However, avoid eating bananas before working.
3. Protein shake before gym
If you do not have time to take a high protein rich diet then you can take a protein shake. Add milk, bananas, berries, avocados and nuts to make choices 2-3 hours before a workout. But if 1 hour is left, then only add milk and a handful of nuts.
4. Greek yogurt and fruits before the gym
A quick pre-workout meal is a Greek yogurt and fruit. This can be taken one hour before starting your workout.
All you have to do is add some berries / peaches / berries / oranges / apples / bananas and some dried fruits along with yogurt. Mix well and consume it.
5. Oatmeal and Berry
It is a meal replacement. If you do not have chicken or vegetables in your kitchen and other lean protein sources are not available, then just take a bowl of oatmeal and berries. You can take it within two to three hours.
6. Smoothie
Smoothie is a great way to get ready for a high intensity or high endurance exercise. It is also a meal replacement option, and you can take it within two to three hours of exercising.
Or if you have only one hour, don’t take a heavy smoothie. You can make a quick smoothie by mixing bananas, milk, berries, black cocoa or spinach, avocado, and coconut water.
7. Flour Bread, Avocado and Ricotta Cheese
Take it 2-3 hours before you start your workout. Flour breads are a good source of carbs, avocados contain healthy fats, and ricotta cheese is a source of protein.
You can also make wheat bread, almond butter, banana slices, and some melon seeds.
8. Brown Rice / Boiled Sweet Potato and Lean Protein
Take it 2-3 hours before your workout. Brown rice is a low GI grain and is loaded with dietary fiber.
Always consume boiled sweet potato as compared to baked or grilled sweet potato because it contains less GI and is a good source of fiber, vitamins and minerals.
Lean proteins such as tofu, mushrooms, fish, and chicken breast help your muscles recover as quickly as possible and prevent muscle injury.
9. Home-made low sugar protein bars
Do not use low-calorie protein bars found in the market because it contains a lot of sugar. But if you have a habit of taking protein bars before a workout, then make it at home.
You can make protein bars with less sugar by adding musli, oats, nuts, seeds, honey, almond butter, milk, and coconut flour. Mix them, shape them, and bake or freeze them.
10. Steamed / Grilled Vegetables or Chicken
If you are trying to lose weight then this is the proper diet for you.
Boiled or grilled skinless chicken breast is a good source of lean protein, and vegetables are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
You only need to add a good source of fat such as avocado, nuts, or olive oil. Drink it 2-3 hours before starting a workout.
Supplement before gym
1. Caffeine
Coffee, tea, energy drinks and pre-workout supplements are the main sources of caffeine. After 15-60 minutes after taking it, its effect will start showing.
2. Creatinine
Creatinine helps improve muscle strength, strength, and endurance. And it works by generating more energy molecules (ATP) in your body.
You can take 2-5 grams of creatine monohydrate per day. However, consult your trainer / dietician before taking it as high doses can be fatal.

Patient Story – Mr Soham, Suffering from Asthma

Mr Soham a 35 years old patient from Bangalore came to visit our clinic (CHANDIGARH AYURVED CENTRE ) . He look pale with difficulty in breathing and wheezing sound from his chest .
He told in his history that he is suffering with the problem of Asthma since childhood . He added that in the very bigning of the disease he feel breathless during playing or running or when the winter started . Then the family took him to the nearby clinic in village and get the consultation with doctor done . The doctor after hearing his chest sound prescribe some of the medication for a week . After taking medication he doesn’t show any improvement in his condition . So the family took him to the another hospital where the doctor advise him some test along with chest X-Ray . After the result of report came DR BANSAL tell the diagnosis of Asthma to the family . Also told about the long term treatment plan and extra care of the boy . He after examination of patient and seeing all the report started him on some medication along with inhaler . They started the medication and get some relief with inhaler use , after getting cured they stop the medication without the advice of doctor. After some time he again faces the same problem but with a severe attack . They again rush to the hospital and tell the whole story , then the again tell them not to stop medication without his advise and prescribe him the medication and the inhaler .

Uterine problems are increasing rapidly in women. Some complain of irregular periods, others have excessive bleeding. One such problem is uterine neoplasia, also called uterine fibroids. It is easy to treat, but slight neglect and carelessness can lead to serious consequences for uterine fibroids. Surprisingly, most women are not aware of uterine neoplasia. In this article of Stylecrase, we will discuss this issue. We will not only explain the meaning of fibroids, but will also share with you home remedies for uterine fibroids.
What is uterine fibroids (neoplasia)?
It is one or more lumps of muscles and cells in the uterus. Speaking in common language, it is a type of tumor that grows on the walls of the uterus. In medical parlance it is called Leiomyoma or Myoma. Fibroids develop as one or more tumors. These tumors can range in size from apple seeds to grapefruit. In unusual situations, their size may be larger than grapefruit.

Intramural fibroids – This is a common fibroids that grow on the wall of the uterus. Due to this the uterus swells and starts to look big. There is also pain and bleeding and it can be difficult to conceive.
Suberosal fibroids – It develops on the outer wall of the uterus. It puts pressure on the intestine, spinal cord and bladder. This causes severe pain in the pelvis.
Cervical fibroids – It mainly thrives on the vagina and uterine neck.
Intralignmentary fibroids – They develop in the tissue associated with the uterus. This makes menstruation irregular.
Causes of fibroids –
The causes of uterine fibroids may be many, but no single cause has been confirmed scientifically. Below we are explaining the causes of some major uterine fibroids :
- Age – Fibroids develop during the reproductive period. Especially between the age of 30 to the age of 50, or until the onset of menopause, it is most likely to happen. They are believed to decrease after the onset of menopause.
- Genetic – If a woman in the family has had this problem, then there is a possibility that it may be faced by some of the next generation. If the mother is having this problem at home, then the risk of it happening to the daughter may increase up to three times.
- Obesity – If a woman is overweight, then she is more likely to have fibroids than other women.
- Stress – Stress is also said to be a cause of uterine fibroids. For this reason, stress should be avoided. Being more upset and stressed can increase the risk of it.
- Hormones – Uterine fibroids can occur even when the body has high levels of estrogen and progesterone hormones.
- Vitamin-D – Women can be vulnerable to uterus fibroid even when there is lack of vitamin-D in the body and increase in iron content.

Garlic
- Three to five buds of garlic

Method of use:
Eat these buds on an empty stomach.
If the taste and smell of garlic intensifies, then a glass of milk can be drunk after eating it.
How beneficial:
We add garlic to our food to enhance the taste of food. Also it can be helpful in treating uterine neoplasia. Indeed, the allicin compound present in garlic shows antiproliferative effects, which do not allow tumor cells to grow. In addition, this compound also exhibits antioxidant and antiinflammatory properties, which can prevent tumors from developing in the uterus . This can provide relief from Uterus fibroid. Also it can improve the digestive system.
Turmeric
- One to three grams or ½ inch turmeric root
- A glass of juice
- Alternatively two spoons of turmeric powder and a glass of water can be taken.
How to use:
- Either chop or grind the turmeric root.
- Now drink it after putting it in a glass of juice.
- A pinch of black pepper can also be added to taste.
- Apart from this, it can also be mixed with food. If you are adding turmeric to the food, then one teaspoon of turmeric is sufficient throughout the day.
- Alternatively add turmeric to the water and boil for about 15 minutes. After this, let the water cool down and then drink.

Amla

A scientific research has said that gooseberry has anti-fibrotic effect. According to the study, amla can be improved in uterine neoplasia caused by monosodium glutamate (MSG – flavor enhancer). It may be beneficial for fibroids due to the phenolic and other components present in it. In addition, the anti-oxidant effect of amla can help in this . For this reason, gooseberry or gooseberry powder can be used for domestic treatment of Rasouli.
Green-Tea
- A green tea bag

How to use:
1.Heat the water and then put green-tea bag in it.

Panchatikta Ghrita Guggulu tablet is a natural source of anti – oxidant. It promotes engender vibrant and healthy skin.

6. Panchsakar Churna:
Panchsakar Churna is an ayurvedic formulation that consists of five ingredients named as – Saindhav Lavana (Rock Salt), Swarnapatri (Cassia angustifolia), Shatapushpa (Anethum sowa), Shunti – (Zingiber officinale), Balaharitaki (Unripe fruits of Terminalia chebula). Panchsakar Churna is naturally detoxifying, thus it removes the toxins from the body. It relieves inflammation and useful in all types of skin problems.The powder has an anti – inflammatory properties due to which it can reduces the swelling.
Recommended Dosage– Take 1 teaspoonful with lukewarm water at bedtime.
7. Neem soap:
Neem soap is natural and herbal handmade soap prepared from the standard extract of herb Neem (Azadirachta indica). 8. Trikatu Tablet:
Trikatu Tablet helps to eliminate excess Kapha or mucous from the body, supports respiratory system, manages weight, helps to take out impurities or ama from the body, supports healthy detoxification, reduces swelling. It shows anti-inflammatory, analgesic, expectorant, antioxidant properties. This tablet is made up of equal parts of three herbs such as Pippali (Piper longum), Shunthi (Zingiber officinale), & Marich (Piper nigrum) that maintains the metabolism in the body.

9 Shashtika Shali Pinda Sweda –
In this therapy heated medicinal rice puddings are applied externally in the form of boluses tied up in a cotton cloth in a specific manner for a specific period of time. This therapy helps to improve circulation, nourishes the body and improves the strength of the tissues of bones and muscles.
10 Patra Pottali Pinda Sweda –
This therapy induces perspiration by using a heated pack of specific herbal leaves. In this, various herbal leaves are cut into small pieces to prepare a mixture. Vatahara tail is added to a mixture of grated leaves. Patra Pottali Pinda Sweda mainly works on Vata-Kaphja vyadhi and has an excellent result in relieving the pain, stiffness, and swelling.
11 Anuvasan Basti –
Basti therapy is highly useful as both a detoxification procedure and a route of delivery of medicine. Anuvasan basti contains lipophilic emulsions which facilitate direct absorption of the medicine into the per-rectal venous system and general circulation. Basti by eliminating the morbid content of large intestine will impact other tissues and promotes the health of the entire organism.
12 Body Lepam –
Lepam is a therapy in Panchakarma where a broad herbal paste is spread on the affected area of the body and allowed it to dry. This therapy is great in arthritis and all skin problems. A Patient Jagdeep Kaur 50 years old from Chandigarh came to visit our clinic (CHANDIGARH AYURVED CENTRE) . She is suffering from knee pain with issue of indigestion .
She tell during her history that the problem started one year back when she suddenly feel swelling over the knee joint . She then started having severe pain in her knees during movement , but doesn’t pay much attention and take some painkiller . She rush to the hospital when the pain over the joint aggravates . She get the consultation done and after examination of the patient the doctor advise her of some test (Knee X-Ray , CBC,CRP-QUANTITATIVE). After the result of reports came out the doctor prescribe her some medication . After taking medication for one week she feel some relief and again visit the doctor . Then the doctor change some of her medication and plan to repeat the X-Ray in follow up . After taking medication she regain her pain and swelling and visit the doctor . The doctor then prescribe her steroids along with physiotherapy for knee . She then feel some relief after 2 week of medication along with physiotherapy . But as soon as she tapper the dose of steroids her pain aggravates .
She then decide to change the doctor for better treatment without steroids . And visited many hospitals for the better treatment and permanent cure of disease . She then decide to switch over homeopathy for the permanent cure of disease . And try treatment for 6 months but with no permanent relief . Then one of her relative suggest her of ayurvedic treatment and panchkarma therapies . She then through internet came to know about Chandigarh Ayurved Centre and contact the doctor on phone . After hearing all her history and seeing all her report the doctor tell her about ayurvedic treatment and panchakarma therapies . After getting satisfactory response on phone she came to visit our clinic . After hearing all her history and examination of the patient Vaidya Karanvir Singh tell them about Ayurvedic medication which are herbal products with no side effect and Panchakarma therapies . She then started taking medication along with panchakarma therapies for 10 days and get 70 % cured . After taking medication for 3 months now she is completely cured with no side effects .
TREATMENT GIVEN TO THE PATIENT
1. Nerve up tablet
Nerve up tablet is a herbo-mineral tablet and is purely ayurvedic formulation. CAC Nerve up tablets help in balancing the vata doshas. It reduces kapha dosha, and acts as nervine stimulant. 7. JANU VASTI :-
Janu vasti is a pain-relieving oil-pooling treatment mainly conducted for knee joint pain that caused due to various causes. In this therapy, the knee joint is bathed with warm medicated oil or freshly prepared herbal decoction. Depending on the severity of pain it can be practiced over both the knee joints or on one knee joint.
Procedure – Firstly, a person is made to lie on his back on the Droni. A ring is made up of black gram around the knee joint, the dough should be prepared in such a way that it covers the whole knee joint. After ensuring the ring is leak-proof, the lukewarm medicated oil or herbal decoction is poured slowly into it. When it cools down, the oil is squeezed out with cotton gauze and the procedure is repeated. At the end of the procedure, the ring is removed and the affected area is gently massaged. The total duration of the treatment is about 40-45 minutes.
8. JANU LEPAM :-
Janu lepam is one of the affected ayurvedic therapy having various health benefits. By applying an herbal paste over the knee, not only heal the conditions of knee but also beneficial for the whole body.
Procedure –Before starting the procedure, a person has to wash their knee with normal water and clean with a towel. He/ She has to sit or lie down on the table and the therapist will apply a gentle massage to both the knee with hands and a paste that prepared from various herbs and applied to the knee. Leave the paste for about 25-30 minutes. After the paste gets dry, clean it with normal water, and apply the aloe vera gel or other miniaturization to both the knee from preventing dryness.
