Often we see that people of the same family have different designs and their choices are also different. But everyone’s food is made together, yet the same food benefits someone and damages someone. Ever wondered why this happens.
It is said that every person is different in terms of physical structure, choice of food and nature. Such variations are often seen in different members of the same family. This happens due to their nature being different. Different branches of medical science emphasize that our diet should be according to the basic structure of the body. This thing logically makes clear that the Tridosha principle in Ayurveda. According to this basic philosophy of Ayurveda, Vata, Pitta, Kapha are Tridosha. According to the great Acharya Charaka, Sushruta etc. of Ayurveda, Tridosha is also a factor in the origin of human body.
How to know your nature:
When doshas remain in a balanced state, then they become the basis of good health. If its order deteriorates i.e. there is an imbalance in their quantity in the body, then the body will become diseased. Diseases are caused when their ratio is less in the body. In such a situation, it is important that our body is nourished keeping in mind its vata, pitta or Kapha nature, only then we can remain healthy. In the case of Tridosha imbalance, there may be 80 types of vata, diseases of bile and 40 from phlegm. People of this nature are often dark or dark complexion. Their skin is dry and cool. The skin of the feet, hands and lips are cracked. There are cracks in them, limbs hard and many veins bulging on the body. People of this nature have dry, stiff, short and short hair. The nails of their fingers are rough and rough. The sounds are hoarse and heavy, the voice without seriousness, the more talkative. The mouth keeps on drying. The taste of the mouth seems faded or bad. Hunger sometimes seems to decrease more often. Digestion is sometimes good and sometimes constipation occurs. Due to the odd fire, a lot of air is produced. Feces dry, foam mixed, broken, low and hard, constipation is more common. Sleep becomes less, more yawn comes. Their teeth are nibbled at bedtime. Symptoms of a person having Pitta nature:
A person of this nature has a delicate body. They do not tolerate heat. Their skin is pale and soft and filled with pimples and sesame seeds. Particular signs of this nature are the hair becoming white at a young age and falling, weeping very less. The nails, eyes and tongue of these people are red. Voices are clear and excellent speakers. Their throat becomes more dry and the taste of mouth is bitter, sometimes sour, blisters in mouth and tongue are more. Hunger seems high and digestive power is good. Feels more thirsty. The stool is thin and yellow. There is a tendency to diarrhea that is jealous. Sleep does not come properly. In the dream, fire, gold, lightning, star, sun, moon etc. often see bright things. They do not like hot nature things, sun and fire. Cool things like cold water, ice, bath with cold water, flowers, etc. are loved. Loves astringent, spicy and sweet substances.
Characteristics of a person with Kapha nature:
A person of this nature has a curvy, smooth, fat body. Their color is fair and the skin is smooth, moist with water wet. Hair is thick, curly. Nails are smooth. They are sweet speakers. Mucus comes out of the mouth or nose. The taste of the mouth remains sweet. Appetite is felt less, satiety occurs with less food. Thirst also seems less. Mostly solid stool, there is smoothness in stool. Sleep is high and laziness and lethargy persist. In dreams, we see more of river, pond, reservoir, sea etc. Their movements are slow. They feel bad in winter but like the wind and the sun very much. Hot food and hot beverages are dear. Likes to eat hot spicy, bitter foods.

Vata Principal Person:
Vata dominated people should be very careful during the rainy season and old age, because Vata prevails in these seasons. Besan Ka Sheera cough or cold

Winter is an easy home remedy for colds and cough and is very tasty. It is also easy to make molasses. It is also very good for pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers. Try our other remedies like turmeric milk, ginger decoction and basil decoction.
Besan Ka Sheera cough or cold
Some like it as porridge or pudding and some like it as a thin juice. Turmeric and black pepper is the best spice that relieves cold and cough in the first stage. Gram flour, jaggery and ghee are rich in instant strength and nutrition, which keeps our children feeling dull with runny nose.
How long can gram flour be given to infants?
It can be given to children above 8 months of age. Apart from this, all the family members can make delicious sweet dishes in the winter season. Organic jaggery powder is the best option in lieu of refined sugar but can be used in sweetening palm sugar, coconut sugar, homemade sugar for sweetening. Infants, children and family – Besanne molasses for cough and cold relief for cold and cough, mouth watering and full of energy, this dish relieves cold and cough in the first stage.

Material
- Gram flour / gram flour – 3 tbsp
- Ghee – 1 big tsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1 pinch
- Turmeric Powder – 1 pinch (if desired)
- Black pepper powder – 1 pinch (if desired)
- Jaggery powder / sugar – 2 tbsp
- Water / milk – 1 1/2 cups
Method of making
- Add ghee and gram flour in the pan.
- Roast it on a slow flame for 3-5 minutes or till the color changes and leave a nice aroma.
- Now mix jaggery, cardamom, black pepper, turmeric.
- Add milk / water and mix it well. Be careful not to lump, boil well.

Socking Feet in hot water treatment for Headache
Keeping the feet immersed in warm water also relieves headaches. Submerging the foot in warm water reduces the pressure in the blood vessels of the head. If the pain is more, you can also add mustard oil to the water.

Rhidhima a patient 30 years old from Zirakpur came to visit our clinic (CHANDIGARH AYURVED CENTRE) . She look pale ,depressed and tensed . She told during her history that she is suffering with the problem of hair fall . She said that the problem started 1 year back when she started taking medication for abdominal issues . She notice that after she started on medication her hairs become dry and hairfall increases . So, she stooped medication for the time being but there is no improvement in her hairs . She then started medication for her hair fall and dryness . After taking treatment she had some relief but as soon as she stop taking medication she again feel the same problem .

6 SHIRODHARA :-
In Ayurveda, Shirodhara is a classic therapy which includes pouring of warm herbal oil on the forehead in a continuous stream. The term Shirodhara comes from two words “Shiro” meaning ‘head’ and “Dhara” meaning ‘stream’ that is considered as Bahiparimarjanachikitsa, or external treatments in Ayurveda.
Procedure –Shirodhara treatment begins with Abhyangam. The person has to lie down on the table with closed eyes and relax the body. Before starting the treatment, eyes and ears should be covered with clean cotton to prevent the entrance of oil in eyes and ears. The procedure starts with the pouring of about 2 liters lukewarm oil continuously as a stream on to the forehead in an oscillating manner. The time duration of Shirodhara may extend 45-1 hour depending upon the condition of a patient.The therapist may also give a mild Shiroabhyanga during this procedure. After completion of the procedure, the head washed with lukewarm water and remove the cotton from the eyes and ears and clean that area with a clean cloth. The patient should be advised to avoid dust, sunlight, cold, wind for a short while.
Patient Story – Suman, Suffering from anxiety

Mrs. Suman a patient 40 years old from Sirsa came to visit our clinic (CHANDIGARH AYURVED CENTRE). She look depressed, tensed with a pale face, she couldn’t able to speak properly due to her anxiety issues. Her husband tell her history that the problem started a year back when she suddenly hear the news of accident with her close friend. She started facing disturbed sleep issue along with the irritable behavior. She suddenly started crying without any region and facing tremors issue. Then they rush to nearby hospital for the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. After hearing all her history the doctor advise them to visit the psychiatrist for better diagnosis and also for her counseling. They then visit the psychiatrist and tell all her history. After hearing all her complaint the doctor talk to her and done her counseling for the better result. He then prescribe medication for a week and ask to come after that for the counseling session. - Dry the urad dal and dry the urad dal in the sun and make a paste. Apply the prepared paste on the cracked bone and tie it. Doing this helps the bone join quickly. Prepare the paste by mixing the liquorice liquorice, manjith and khatai. Apply this paste on the broken bone and tie it. Doing this will help the bone injury recover quickly.
Urad Dal –
