Pitta dosha is made up of ‘Agni’ and ‘Water’. The word Pitta is derived from the Sanskrit word Tapa which means that the element which generates heat in the body is Pitta. If we understand it in common language, bile does the work of converting whatever we eat or drink, and the air we take in by breath, into blood, bone, marrow, feces and urine etc. Apart from this, the mental tasks such as intelligence, courage, happiness, etc. are also handled through bile.
A decrease in bile means a decrease in your digestive fire. If bile dosha is not in good condition in the body then it means that there is disturbance in your digestive system. Mrs Ritu a 25 years old patient came to visit our clinic (CHANDIGARH AYURVED CENTRE) . She tell during her history that she is suffering with excessive hair fall and dandruff . 6 SHIRODHARA :-
In Ayurveda, Shirodhara is a classic therapy which includes pouring of warm herbal oil on the forehead in a continuous stream. The procedure starts with the pouring of about 2 liters lukewarm oil continuously as a stream on to the forehead in an oscillating manner. The time duration of Shirodhara may extend 45-1 hour depending upon the condition of a patient.The therapist may also give a mild Shiroabhyanga during this procedure. After completion of the procedure, the head washed with lukewarm water and remove the cotton from the eyes and ears and clean that area with a clean cloth. Mr. Anil Kumar is from Patna. He was enjoying his retirement when one day he felt too weak to walk normally. Its uniform temperature is maintained throughout the process by replacing warm oil in Kati Vasti Pool. The oil is kept for 30-40 minutes. After that, a gentle massage is done over the whole back.
8 PATRA PINDA SWEDHA :-
In other terms, Patra Pinda Sweda is known as Elakizhi, and is described as a form of sweat therapy prepared from herbal ingredients such as the leaves of medicinal plants. Different leaves are selected for this procedure depending on the disease to be treated and the dosha involved in causing the disorder. The commonly used leaves of the plants are Eranda (Ricinus communis), Nirgundi (Vitex negundo), Arka (Calotropis gigantea), etc.
Procedure – The fresh leaves of different plants are collected, sliced and tied in a bolus. Then, the bolus is placed in a pan and heated. Alternatively, it may be dipped in herbal oils that are being heated at a constant temperature. Once the bolus is sufficiently heated, it is removed and gently rubbed over the joints and other affected areas. The bolus should be changed with another heated one once it cools down to maintain the temperature at the site being treated. Once the treatment is over, the treated parts are wiped with a clean and dry tissue paper.

Prevention Tips for Migraine
- To avoid migraine or recurring, the risk of getting some changes in your lifestyle and diet can be reduced to some extent –
- Always avoid temperature changes like if you use an air conditioner in the summer, do not get out of the heat at once and do not drink too much cold water from the heat.
- If you are going out in the hot sun during the summer season, then avoid direct sunlight and use sunglasses or umbrellas.
- Avoid traveling more and more during the summer season.
- Must drink 8 to 10 glasses of water or else you may have dehydration because dehydration is the biggest cause of migraine problem so drink more and more water.
- Avoid eating such things in which there is more sweat like tea, coffee etc. during humid weather.
- Do not eat too much chilli, keep blood pressure maintenance and do not eat birth control pills, if you want to take birth control pills, then take it in low doses.
- Go for a walk in the morning, walk on the barefoot grass because it reduces stress and if the tension is low then the hormones will also remain in balance which also reduces the migraine.
- For 30 minutes, do Yogasan or Pranayam, you will get a lot of benefit from this, 10 minutes daily meditation is also very beneficial for us.
- Migraine patients should drink plenty of fluids ie soup, lemonade, coconut water, buttermilk, lassi etc.
- Eat plenty of fruits and green vegetables.
- Take a small amount of salt. Half a teaspoon of salt a day is enough because most food items contain salt by themselves.
- Avoid taking tea, coffee and cold drinks etc. Taking them can increase migraine.
- Avoid the consumption of alcohol and chocolate. They also cause headache.
- Rich oil-spiced food and fasting also increase migraine problems, so avoid it.
- Exercise improves sleep and reduces the frequency and intensity of migraine headaches, cycling is beneficial for migraine sufferers. Cardiovascular exercise is the best way to dissolve the feeling of being stable and ‘stuck’, which occurs before migraine sufferers.
- Balasana, Uttanasana, Setubandh Sarvangasana, Halasana is beneficial in yoga.
