Hypotension or low blood pressure means a sudden drop in the blood flow to the organs that result in lightheadedness, fatigue, lack of concentration, fainting, dizziness, or nausea. 1) Big Raisins (Munakka)

How to use
- You can soak some Munakkas overnight and then boil it with milk and have it in the morning.
- Or you can just add a fistful of soaked Munakkas in your breakfast regimen.
2) Tulsi
Holy basil or Tulsi offers multiple benefits due to its therapeutic, adaptogenic, anti-inflammatory, and cardioprotective properties. It is also a rich source of nutrients like vitamin C, magnesium, and potassium. The combined properties of these nutrients help to treat low blood pressure.
How to use
- Crush 10 to 15 basil leaves. Extract the juice and add a teaspoonful of honey in it. Consume this mixture once every morning.
3) Almond Milk
Almond milk is considered as the best home remedy to elevate the blood pressure. It is generally low in saturated fat which helps to lower the level of harmful cholesterol in the blood and reduces your overall risk of having a heart attack. The milk also has natural omega-3 fatty acids that help to reduce the risks of blood pressure and help you to maintain a healthy heart.
How to use
- You could grind 6 to 7 almonds and mix it well with about half a glass of lukewarm milk or low-fat milk. You should take sips from this mixture when you feel dizzy or weak due to a lowered blood pressure.
4) Beetroot Juice
Beetroot has been used since the Middle Ages as a treatment for ailments, particularly those relating to the blood and digestion. It contains a high level of dietary nitrate, which the body converts into biologically active nitrite and nitric oxide in the human body which relaxes the blood vessels and helps in the maintenance of proper blood pressure.
How to use
Peel and chop the beetroot. Put in a juicer, add some water, grind it and drink twice daily for about one week. This will surely maintain the circulation of blood pressure in the body.
5) Carrot Juice
Carrot juice is one of the easiest and effective ways to increase the blood pressure as it contains the nutrients like fiber, potassium, nitrates, and vitamin C that is very effective in controlling the level of blood pressure. Carrot juice has a high content of potassium which may in part have contributed to maintaining the level of blood and electrolytes.
How to use
- You could start your day with fresh carrot juice mixed with a little honey which would very easily treat low blood pressure. Take a glass of carrot juice and mix one tablespoon of honey in it and then drink it daily on an empty stomach early in the morning and then again in the evening.
6) Lemon Juice
Lemon is a good source of potassium and magnesium which promotes heart health and is beneficial for circulating the blood pressure normally. Lemon juice can help to energize the body by stimulating liver function and help with proper digestion.
How to use
- Take a glass of lemon juice and add a little salt and sugar in it to replenish your electrolyte stores.
