HOW AYURVEDA HELPS?
According to Ayurveda, schizophrenia comes under the category of Unmada and Atatvabhinivesh. When the three gunas – satva, rajas and tamas gunas get imbalanced, it leads to a disorder of the mind. The three doshas – vata, pitta and kapha are equally involved when they get vitiated. The ayurvedic herbs help in calming the mind by balancing the three gunas and doshas.
