BOTANICAL NAME – Momordica charantia

ENGLISH NAME – Bitter gourd, bitter melon

• It has bitter taste, dry qualities and hot potency
• It has abilities to balance all three doshas
• It is a deep cleanser. Due to its bitter taste it has unique property of penetrating deep into fat, blood, nervous system thus offering great cleansing from within.
• Brings Down LDL Cholesterol: Bad cholesterol(LDL) forms plaque in arteries and leads to atherosclerosis, heart attack and various other heart issues. Karela juice has anti-inflammatory properties and brings down the levels of LDL.
