Patient Story – Ritu, Suffering from Hair Fall

Mrs Ritu a 25 years old patient came to visit our clinic (CHANDIGARH AYURVED CENTRE) . She tell during her history that she is suffering with excessive hair fall and dandruff . She also told that the problem started 1 year back when she started taking medication for her skin issues . She notice that the problem of hair fall and dandruff increase . She then visit the dermatologist and tell her complaints . The doctor then advise her to get some report done . When the result of report came out the doctor prescribe him some medication for one week. The medication include oil , shampoo along with the other medication . After taking medication for a week she doesn’t get any satisfactory response and again visit the clinic . She tell all the complaint to the doctor and get her medication changed . After taking medication for next 2 weeks she doesn’t get much relief and change the doctor . In this way she tried medication from different hospitals but with no permanent cure . She then switch to homeopathy for the treatment and tried medication for 2 months . She doesn’t get any satisfactory response and search on the internet for the treatment of disease . She then came to know about AYURVEDIC treatment and search about Ayurveda . She then through internet came to know about CHANDIGARH AYURVED CENTRE . She contact the doctor on phone and tell all her history with reports , then the doctor tell her about ayurvedic medication which are herbal products along with the panchkarma therapies for her disease . After taking medication along with panchkarma therapies for 14 days she get 70 % relief . Now after taking medication for 4 months she got completely cured . 

TREATMENT GIVEN TO THE PATIENT :-

1. Hair Sachet

The herbal hair sachet is prepared from all the natural ingredients which promote hair growth by its own properties. This Hair sachet contains –Parwal pishti, Shukta pishti, Giloy satva, Punarnava mandoor, Talsindoor, Gandhak rasayana, Jahar mohra. These ingredients balance the aggravated Pitta dosha and increase hair retention, soothing down the irritation, itching, inflammation, redness. This herbal sachet is used for the treatment of weak hair. The hair sachet helps in the rejuvenation of the hair. It increases hair retention, weight of the hair, and helps in regrowth of the hair.

Recommended Dosage – Take 1 sachet twice a day with normal water.

2. Hair Live Herbal Shampoo

It is used in various kind of hair related issues like Baldness, Graying of hairs etc. It contains very good herbs that work on your hair and roots of hair in your scalp. It makes your hair shiny and thick. The herbs used for formulation of this oil shows antioxidant, anti-dandruff, anti-inflammatory properties. This product is herbal and natural formula for maintaining hair health. It is used in Hairball, graying of hair, dandruff, dry scalp, thinning of hairs, baldness, alopecia and loss of lusterless.

Method of usage– Apply it on wet hair, massage into a rich lather for 2-3 minutes and rinse properly with water.

This herbal capsule is pure ayurvedic preparation which is prepared pure extract of Kutki (Picrorhizza kurroa). Kutki enhances functions of liver, fights skin problems, and treats jaundice. Kutki has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-hepatotoxic, and Anti-allergic properties. This capsule helps to cure digestive disorder, liver problems and improves immunity.
Dosage: Take 2 capsules twice daily.

6 SHIRODHARA :- 

In Ayurveda, Shirodhara is a classic therapy which includes pouring of warm herbal oil on the forehead in a continuous stream. The term Shirodhara comes from two words “Shiro” meaning ‘head’ and “Dhara” meaning ‘stream’ that is considered as Bahiparimarjanachikitsa, or external treatments in Ayurveda.

Procedure –Shirodhara treatment begins with Abhyangam. The person has to lie down on the table with closed eyes and relax the body. Before starting the treatment, eyes and ears should be covered with clean cotton to prevent the entrance of oil in eyes and ears. The procedure starts with the pouring of about 2 liters lukewarm oil continuously as a stream on to the forehead in an oscillating manner. The time duration of Shirodhara may extend 45-1 hour depending upon the condition of a patient.The therapist may also give a mild Shiroabhyanga during this procedure. After completion of the procedure, the head washed with lukewarm water and remove the cotton from the eyes and ears and clean that area with a clean cloth. The patient should be advised to avoid dust, sunlight, cold, wind for a short while.
