Flu problems are quite common during the rainy season. There is more need to be careful in this rain due to corona virus due to flu. Because, according to the World Health Organization, flu can be a major symptom of Covid-19 infection. In such a situation, you can take these measures at home level to protect yourself from the flu and to recover as soon as possible after getting the flu.

Common Flu Home Remedies: The risk of viral diseases increases greatly during the rainy season. One of which is Common Flu. In a recent survey, it was found that at this time 26 percent people in the country are showing flu-like symptoms. Therefore, not only seasonal diseases but also, the risk of Kovid-19 infection is very high for these people.
26 percent of people with flu-like symptoms were found, including problems such as high fever, cold, dry cough. The survey found that the symptoms seen in most people include problems with nasal congestion, cold and runny nose. These symptoms were highest and occurred in 5 percent of the people. Based on the survey conducted in 1,723 people, 26.05 percent people had various symptoms of flu. Of which a maximum of 4.99 percent people had symptoms of nasal congestion, cold and runny nose. The trouble that was seen the least was body pain. Only 2.67 percent of people complained of body pain.
The second most common symptom was fever, seen in 4.62 percent of people. Dry cough followed by -4.26 percent, fatigue – 3.82 percent, difficulty in breathing – 2.99 percent and throat pain – 2.68 percent.
What are the common remedies for common flu?
Take healthy diet- Keep such things in your diet as well. Which, increase immunity. Such as ginger, garlic, black pepper and vitamin C rich citrus fruits.
Get plenty of rest – After fever comes, you should take plenty of rest. With this, your immune system will work better.
Ayurvedic medicines– After fever, people have headache, throat problem, cold, cold and cough. From which, you can take Ayurvedic medicines to get relief. For this, you can take turmeric, basil leaves, coriander decoction, honey and ginger etc. with milk.
Take care of hydration- There is a lack of water in the body due to fever. Therefore, keep yourself hydrated. Therefore, drink a lot of water when you have fever. Along with water, you should also consume liquids like soup, lemon sorbet, lentil water and fruit juice.
Get influenza vaccine for protection from the flu.
Gargle with hot water.
Try to keep the body warm – Keep the body from cold. Wear warm clothes when you have fever. Wear a sweater and coat. Cover the feet with socks. By this, you will not feel cold and you will not get fever.
Prevent infection from spreading – Do not allow infection to spread to others when there is a cold. To do this, cover the face-mouth with a handkerchief or tissue paper while coughing or sneezing. Wash your hands with soap and water after coughing and sneezing
Control the stress.
Garlic
Garlic helps a lot in fighting any type of flu. Its antibacterial properties and allicin present in it enhance the body’s immunity. It also helps in protecting the body from swine flu virus. Just swallow its two buds as water daily with water and you will stay away from the flu.
Basil
Tulsi has many medicinal properties that help protect the body from flu or any type of bacteria present in the environment. Not only this, even if the body becomes vulnerable to it, Tulsi also helps the patient to recover quickly. In the morning, eat basil leaf on an empty stomach or mix it in tea so that its nutrients can go into the body.
Water
Water not only quenches thirst, but it also has many benefits to health. The most important thing is that water helps to keep the body free of toxins and remove impurities from the body. It also helps the immune system to remain strong.
Turmeric
Turmeric has antioxidant and antibacterial properties. By this, the immune system is strengthened as well as the bacteria present in the body are destroyed. When the body gets so much strength from inside, it will also help in fighting the swine flu virus, so make turmeric a part of your diet.
Giloy
It is common in many areas. Take a one-foot long branch of giloy, add 5-6 leaves of basil to it and boil it for 15-20 minutes, until its ingredients dissolve. Add black pepper, rock salt (if it is fast) or black salt, sugar candy as per taste. Let it cool down and eat lukewarm. It is effective for immunity. If giloy plant is not available then you can make this decoction using giloy powder
Camphor tablet shaped piece of camphor can be taken once or twice a month. Older people can swallow it with water and small children can rub it with potatoes or bananas as it is difficult to take directly. Remember not to take camphor daily, take it only once a month.
Garlic People who eat garlic can chew two buds raw every morning. It can be taken with lukewarm water. Garlic increases immunity more than other things.
Guarpatha– Guarpatha is an easily available plant. Its cactus-like thin and long leaves have aroma-free gels. Taking this gel with water in a tea spoon will be very good for the skin, relieve joint pain and increase immunity.
Neem
Neem has the ability to clean the air, making it effective for airborne diseases, also for swine flu. You can chew 3-5 neem leaves daily to cleanse the blood.
Do pranayam daily and do pranayam and jogging daily to keep throat and lungs healthy. Apart from keeping you healthy, it is beneficial for every disease that is related to nose, throat and lungs.
Take vitamin C, citrus fruits and Amla juice rich in vitamin C. Since amla juice is not available every month (especially four months), you can also take packaged gooseberry juice.
Hygiene wash your hands daily and apply soap and wash it with hot water for 15-20 seconds. Especially before eating food and after touching anything that you think there may be flu viruses such as door handle or after traveling in bus, train etc., please wash hands.
