It is very common for fungal infections to be found all over the world. In humans, the problem of Fungal Infection occurs when an external fungus occupies a particular part of the body and the immune system of the body is not able to deal with it.
Fungus can live anywhere, even in air, soil, water and plants. There are many fungus that also live in the human body in general. Like many other microbes, some of them are good for us and some are bad for us.
When harmful fungus attacks our body, it is very difficult for us to eliminate them. Because they can survive in any environment and they keep trying to infect a healthy person again and again.

Causes of fungal infection
Physical chemistry and lifestyle may increase the risk of fungal infections. For example, if you are a runner (athlete) or if you sweat a lot, you may experience many symptoms of a fungal infection called athlete’s foot.
- Fungus often grows in warm, and moist environments.
- Wearing sweaty or wet clothes is also a risk factor for your skin infection.
- A skin cut or a rupture can also penetrate into the deep layers of the skin and cause various types of infections.

Types of fungal infections
Here are some of the more common fungal and yeast infections that people experience –
Tinea vesicular
It is a fungal infection occurring in the epidermis, the uppermost layer of the skin. The upper most layer epidermis which is responsible for such infections, is often much higher in the oily skin, causing this type of infection to be higher for adults than for older people. Treatment is available for tinea vesicular, but this infection often returns. However, this infection does not cause any kind of pain or itching.
Fungal infection treatment
If your symptoms are not severe, you can treat this fungal infection at home as well. Using ayurvedic antifungal cream or shampoo can be effective to treat this infection. If you want to get medical treatment for tinea vesicular, your doctor may prescribe various Ayurvedic medications, such as a topical cream that can be applied directly to the skin.
Itching between the thighs (Jock Itch)

The problem of itching between the thighs is also called jock itch or Tinea cruris. This is another very common type of fungal infection. This fungi likes moist and mild warm environment. That is why it spreads more in the same parts of the body where sweat or moisture is present in good amount. Like,

Symptoms of Jock Itch
The problem of jock itch is mostly in the summer season or more in the humid and humid city people. Jock itch is a measurable infectious disease. It is a disease of untouchability. That is, if you come in direct Contact with a person affected by it or use clothes used by him, then you too may have this problem. This fungus can also kill the genitals of women and men.
Jock itch manifests as itching on the body. Often it appears as roundish red rashes. Symptoms of jock itch include:

Athlete’s foot
The problem of ringworm in the feet is also called athlete’s foot or Tinea Pedis. This is a common type of fungal infection that affects the feet. The problem of athlete’s foot is usually those who are involved in sports or are athletes. Many times this problem also occurs to those people who wear outdoor shoes all day long.
Symptoms of Athlete’s Foot
The fungus of athlete’s foot thrives in a humid and mildly warm environment, such as socks and shoes, sporting goods and locker rooms. But the reality is that anyone can be affected by the problem of athlete’s foot. This is a common problem of hot weather. They usually affect people more during the summer season. Its bacteria grow rapidly in hot weather.
Symptoms of athlete’s foot problem can be different in every human being. Common symptoms are the following:
- Red marks or abscess in the affected area
- Softening of skin
- Break or crackle
- Dermatitis
- Feeling of itching, burning or stinging in the feet
Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention of Athlete’s Foot
Not every itching on the feet is actually athlete’s foot. Doctors usually scrape the skin and remove a small piece to identify such infection. After that, it is confirmed by checking with a microscope whether the signs of the presence of any fungus are found.
There are many types of fungus that can cause athlete’s foot problems. Each fungus that affects the skin can have a different effect on the skin.

Ringworm or ringworm
Ringworm is also called Tinea corporis. This is a skin infection that resides on fungus living on dead tissue. These infections can occur on the skin as well as hair and nails.
Ringworm is the fungus that causes problems like jock itch and athlete’s foot. Whenever it occurs on any part of the body, this infection is called ringworm.
Symptoms of Ringworm
Ringworm is a skin infection. Ringworm is easily noticeable because of its size. It is a red colored round patch, which may cause problems such as itching or crusting.
With the passage of time, round patches are formed in this problem and gradually many round patches are formed around that patch. In this way, it goes on expanding. The outer part of this ring is red and can sometimes appear embossed. While the inner layer of white color appears and sometimes smooth water can also come out.
Ringworm is highly contagious and can cause problems with skin-to-skin contact. Sometimes this problem can occur even when exposed to animals. This fungus may also be present in certain things such as towels, clothes and combs.
Ringworm fungus can also infect soil and mud. Therefore, people who have to work in dust and soil can also have ringworm problems.
Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention of Ringworm
Treatment and prevention of ringworm can be done by maintaining basic hygiene. Infections can also be avoided by keeping the skin clean and dry. Apart from this, avoiding the use of public use bathroom and toilet can also help. Avoiding the use of other things such as towels or clothes can also be effective.
Yeast infection
Vaginal yeast infections are a common form of Candida overgrowth in women, usually caused by Candida albicans.
An overgrowth of Candida disrupts the normal balance of the bacteria and yeast in the vagina. This imbalance of bacteria may be due to antibiotics, stress, and hormone imbalances, or poor eating habits, among other things.
Candida infections can also commonly cause fungal toe nail infections and diaper rash.
Symptoms
Symptoms of a yeast infection include:
- itching and swelling around the vagina
- burning sensations or pain during urination or intercourse
- redness and soreness on and surrounding the vagina
- unusual vaginal discharge, such as gray clumps that resemble cottage cheese or a very watery discharge
A rash may develop over time in some cases. Yeast infections should be treated quickly, as the symptoms may become severe if left untreated
Scalp ringworm
Scalp’s ringworm is also known as Tinea capitis and is a more intense fungal infection than shingles that also appears on other areas of the skin. The fungi that cause this ringworm not only infect the skin of the scalp, but also spread to the hair follicles. Due to which it can also cause hair fall, and from that place the hair blows and leaves a bald spot with the type of ringworm there.
Fungal infections of nails
This type of infection occurs in the nails, also called onychomycosis, due to fungal infection in the part of the toe nail. As the nail grows, it becomes brittle, then thickens and detaches from the nail.
Risk Factors of Fungal Infection
Fungal infections are very common in humans and are generally not considered a serious problem. If the problem is diagnosed and treated in a timely manner, it can be easily corrected.
But if a person’s immunity or immune system is weak, then it can be difficult to cure fungal infections. This problem is often not cured by taking anti-biotic drugs. In the same way, fungal infections of cancer treatment patients and diabetes patients have to face a lot of difficulty in recovery.
Ayurvedic medicine in Fungal Diseases
In ayurvedic classics, Fungal disease are explained as Dadru And Sidhma in the category of Kustha. Sidhma is compared with Tinea versicolor and Dadru is compared with rest types of Fungal diseases. As per Ayurveda Kandu(itching is the main complaint), Raga(redness), Pidika(papule/pustule) Mandal(lesions are elevated) are the sign and symptoms of Fungal disease.
1. Detox Premium Powder :

4. Skin care tablet:
