Sarcoidosis is a disease in which there occurs growth of tiny collections of inflammatory cells in different parts of body such as lungs and lymph nodes. The collection of inflammatory cells is known as granuloma. These granulomas are located in different areas such as skin, heart, eyes, etc. There has not been found any exact cause of the disease but it is believed to occur due to reaction of body’s immune system to an unknown substance. Some infectious agents, dust, chemicals, etc can trigger the immune response. Sometimes the immune system attacks the body’s own cells and forms multiple granulomas.
Some of the common signs and symptoms of sarcoidosis are:
- Rapid weight loss
- Body weakness
- Swelling of lymph nodes
- Shortness of breath
- Dry cough
- Swelling in joints

3. Cough powder:
